    you will be a busy boy fitting all that gear on!! check my new sig for a closer shot of the rims, it should look the same as mine as you got 5 doors too! i decided against fitting my coilovers myself! cant get any of the f*****g bolts to undo!! i am having them done on saturday morning at a vw dealers (by my 2 mates who are mechanics there!) got new rear lower nuts and bolts and got new top mount bearings and bushes to be on the safe side too! will post a finished picture when it1s done! wont feel like a boat on corners then

    dont think too expensive at this stage, it could be something as silly as ht leads or plugs, take it to a decent garage or someone you know who will have a look for you, as you say it clears at higher revs it could be an ht lead breaking down at lower revs? the water will be hot!!!!! the brown colour could just be shitty coolant that needs changing? has it got oil residue in it? if it has? you need it gas analysed to see if you have a crack somewhere or leaking head gasket, dont panic though it may be something silly.

    no problems its JCB Volkswagen trade centre in Rochester, kent, (i used to work 4 them till i went to the dark side!) neil is a top guy and knows his vw stuff!!

    defo without mate, looks very subtle but still aggresive, throw them in the bin never to darken your car again!!! or put them on ebay someone will buy them!!

    TDI? your vr should piss on that even the six speed one isnt that quick, had a little play with an audi a6 tdi (well he thought he was playing upto 120 mph) i absolutely pissed it once he got the soot blower in the near lane!!! i think he read my rear badge and didnt want to play anymore after that? they are pretty good the tdi but not a patch on a decent petrol car im afraid

    i pissed a mk5 gti driver off the other day!! pulled away from him at speed! and he couldnt keep up, it was quite evenly matched till i got to the mid range in 3rd and then he started going backwards!, the vr seemed to have more out and out grunt, quite funny as my car was 3 grand!

    just get the dialynx short wheel base Audi quatro up there!! f****** tin pot renault will go up the air intake on that its awesome! and no onions or berets to be seen!

    What tyou mean by that? just what it says mate the beam shape and reflectors will be in the correct position for britain so will actually improve the amount of road you can see without compromising your vision in the dark, remember if you have a serious shit cart police vehicle examiners will notice the lamps and you could end up in court if the accident is deemed your fault due to ilegal lamps? i like my original lamps,

    let me know if your all gonna buy steering racks!!! i have a best mate who runs a vw trade parts centre! all genuine parts and would be a minimum of 20% off in most cases!! i can always ask as abulk buy could save you loads!

    gay is a strong word! "happy happy" or "french" is less hurtfull surely? it will look meaner than a ford cortina! without them (email me if you dont recall a car called a cortina! ) you will get used to it in a week or so so you wont miss them

    you could get a decent brand named stainless for that sort of money if the pump etc are genuine then i suppose that isnt too bad? at least your cars fit again! !lol

    err dunno which one does that system, have a look on the back of the fuse box cover, should be an "idiots guide" (no offence it applys to all of us! ) it should be on a seperate fuse to anything else, other than that you may have to check them all!

    no one except an mot tester will even know your lights are left hand drive! even coppers! as long as they are adjusted right over then i dont see it being an issue other than you could get brit spec ones and be able to see in the dark better??

    what year is the car? if its pre 95 i would just leave it as it is unless you go the whole hog including body colour bumpers etc, just my 2p`s worth

    throw it out! they are tooooo heavy! just upgrade all your standard fit speakers with alpine ones, they sound the danglies!

    now fuel is as much to buy as coke (cola!) none of will be going far!!! it will be like mad max soon! robbing fuel from the badlands to put in our vr6 interceptors!! %-6
