    just put the Jetex system on my vr and it is a really nice piece of kit, sounds really nice too without being loud, but still sounds purposefull, has the "letterbox" tail pipe too which is schweeeet!

    nice thanks for the feedback, think i will stick with my toyos then, i have had 3 sets and tbh i think they are great tyres for what they cost, i dont do much mileage so they always last a bit longer for me anyway!! few corner scrubs :@ gotta test the sidewalls too sometimes! lets you know your alive! i will send you a mail today dub-weiser, cheers.

    the same place in the US for the leads, think they do a Hazet one which is a decent metal one! not like the shite plastic one you get on your bonnet stay!

    pretty sure they are the same as all vw`s the outer one can be done via hub nut removal etc and leave inner alone, unless??? its a b******d to get off then its vice time! all that HT grease! love it

    Does anyone remember a guy called David Seban?? he was a french guy who used to turn up a inters with Mental modded Mk1`s WITH VR6 ENGINES and porche bits all over them! i think he did a silver "gull wing" door mark 1 aswell? anyone heard of him on the tuning front lately? another guy i remember was jerone deyke? he had a mental supercharched vr6 corrado if i recall!!! they were some of the best euro modders on the scene a few years ago but havnt seen them at the brit shows for a while?

    you cant make it up! the highway code is a "guide to driving" not a road bible, you have to judge whats around you, if a vehicle drives up my arse i am not going to pull in and let it dangerously overtake on my rear quarter, just wait for a nearside gap & your judgement in the situation and use the power of the vehicle your driving to safely pull out of its way, if you can say "only a fool breaks the 2 second rule" before passing an object within the same time as the car ahead of you, you are too close!

    err think you hit the nail on the head! i had an avo kit on my rallye and the fronts lasted 6 months!!! it was shite! sounds like both shocks are shot mate, throw it away and get a decent kit i put h&r on & it was ace for 4 years and still going strong when i sold it a month ago! i am just going to buy a kit for my vr this week and it wont be AVO!!! too harsh when they are working and poor quality imo.
