    Just changed to 195/50/15's on my car and it feels better. I got the Toyo's. The tyres so look a little small too small but it doesnt bother me.

    Nice, cheers! Only thing I am worried about is the brakes. Is it worth taking the drivers side light out to help with airflow into the air intake and to help cool the engine?

    Doing a trackday in a couple of weeks time and I was just wondering if there is anything specific to the VR that is worth looking at. Is there anything that overheats/gets stressed fairly quickly that is worth keeping an eye on? I presume the brakes will take a bit of a pounding? Also anybody got rough ideas for tyre pressures? I am running 195/50/15's Toyos.

    I drilled mine and it did make a slight improvement to induction noise. K&N filter panel fitted. I just cut a hole in the bottom right of the airbox and ran a flexible hose down to the bumper grills as mentioned. You do have to remove the carbon cannister though to do this. (use the search to find out how to do this). I then removed the cone from the top half of the airbox and overall it gives a nice induction note without being OTT which you get with cone filters. Al in it cost

    Sounds like its just pressure (rebound?) adjust. Still good though.

    Its certainly silver. Looks good although I would have a balck front spoiler. First time you hit something with it the paint will flake off. Where did you get the 6 branch?

    Why would there carbon in your throttle body? Its on the intake side of the piston.

    17s for looks, 16s for all round improvement. I would go for some slightly dished 16". Not a fan of this hyperchrome stuff either. does your car have the arch trim? That can make a difference to choosing the right wheel.

    I did this yesterday and did about 60miles of motorway driving today and the fuel consumption was way more than usual plus it feels less responsive. Anybody else noticed this?

    Best thing to do is get it rolling roaded to see what its putting out at the moment.

    The chav element has ruined thier rep. My brother had one and for a pure driving experience it was far better then my VR. Wouldnt like to run one though, worse on fuel than the VR.

    Got myself a back box for the car and went to put it on tonight to find that the system is one piece!! ~ What a bloody stupid idea! Anybody else had to put on just a back box? I seriously cannot believe they did this.

    Do you have a graph of it standard to compare with? It may not have raised the peak torque but you could have a graph showing increased torque eslewhere.
