This has been discussed many times on loads of forums but for the life of me I cannot remember the definitive answer although I think 10w-40 is the minimum recommended for use. I think that going to 10w-50 or 60 is even better.
Yeah, thats what I was thinking off. I was watching the auction but mixed up what time it ended, would have had them otherwise. What about these - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8004852852&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1
Have to agree with Binliner however Ive driven a 3.5l Chimera and I didnt think it was that great considering what it cost. I would defiently buy a Cerbera over any VW if I could afford one.
Thinking of getting some new headlights but I am just wondering peoples opinions. My car has a bit of a black theme with black wheels and standard rear lenses however front lights are standard. I dont want angel eye or Mk4 crystal style i.e. bling looking ones so there is either quads or black backed ones. What best for quads, clear or smoked lenses? I like the non-angel BMW style as well. Cant really decide.
Never heard of them. Still think 35 is best. See this thread, 2nd guy down has 35 offset so that look ok. http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?81264
With 7.5in I would stick to 35. The 25's would probably stick out oo much. Do you run coilovers as they may be worried about the wheel hitting the strut when using the 35 offset? Who is advising you?
Whats the width? Unless you are going for the Euro wide wheel look then I would stick with the 35's as they will save you a load of hassle. Personally I am going off the wide wheel low offset look at the moment.
Looking to order some Pagid FR pads from GSF but they have two selection that appear to be the same. Which ones do I order? Part Numer 64327F or 64327FG?
Just having a good check on all things under the bonnet last night and I noticed a patch of oil on top of the rear engine mount. It seems to be coming from a pipe that T's out of the air intake pipe just before the throttle body. The line then seems to go into the block. Is this just an oil breather? Its only a small leak so not too worried.
