    Cool. Any pics of a standard engine with the cover removed? Also what tools do you need?

    Does anybody have a pic of what it is like under the engine cover? I am not one for these covers in the engine bay I wouldnt mind taking it off. To remove it I presume you take of the upper HT lead holder then remove the screws. Also, what tools do you need to remove it?

    I am getting my drivers side sill repaired but this means the kickplate will have to be replaced. Can you still get these? Its the plastic bit that has VR6 on it.

    Well here is it. VR Highline with the all the obligitary extras. TBH dont care much for the a/c as its not really needed up here in Scotland. Needs a few rust spots tidying and the wheels are pretty scabby. Spec: Engine - 50kmiles with FSH. Standard bar k&n panel with drilled airbox. Chassis - Bilstien Suspension (not coilovers), 6.5 x 16" BBS from Anniversery model with Eagle F1 all round. Exterior - Completely standard bar proper VR rear badge (which I am going to get) Interior - Standard apart from Sony MD player and 10CD stack. I really like it as it is, nice and subtle, but I wa

    Dont like the wood gearknob on my car so I am looking for a replacement. I like the standardish look so what VW ones could I use? Some of the Mk4 knobs are quite nice but I believe they are a different fitment.

    Hey all. Just changed to a Mk3 VR from a Corrado 16v and the standard speakers in the Mk3 are soooo bad compared to the Raddo. It only has the front speakers and rear door speakers with nothing on the rear supports. I fact I dont think thier are any blanking holes for speakers in the rear. Are all Mk3's like this? What sizes do I need to get and any suggestions on specifications. I just like a good sound with a bit of decent bass. Also the radio reception is terrible. Could this be the aerial?
