    Sorry but the South of England is pathetically bad at coping with snow. There has been a fair bit up here and I havent once seen an incident. I just saw the news and they are on about flying in supplies to a school......fecking joke.

    90% of my driving is now either town or motorway so I just dont need the VR. I do like the power and the car is great but I must be getting old as head is now ruling heart.

    Noe that it below freezing going to work I tried the heated seats on my car for the first time. TBH I forgot they were even heated. How quickly should they warm up and how hot do they get because I am pretty sure mine are either not working right or dont work at all.

    Cannot afford a newer car plus I have a bike for fun. Not a diesel man at all and I just get pissed off sitting in traffic jams with the VR. Tempted by a 16v though. Anyone interested in my VR just PM me.

    I mainly do town driving though and the insurance is almost halved with the 8v. Quite fancy a colour concept plus it has to be 5dr for work.

    I have been thinking of changing my Mk3 VR for an Mk3 8v gti but has anybody run both before? Just wondering if the 8v will be noticably cheaper to run in terms of petrol/insurace etc? Also what sort of mpg do you get from an 8v?

    Jesus, get that buggered lowered!! Looks good but I would either paint the whole centre caps black and put chrome badges on or leave the nut part silver.

    Its a hell of a lot lighter than the standard item but unless you are tracking your car I reckon that the money is best spent elsewhere.

    I just removed my cannister altogether, blocked one pipe and put the other down into the wing. No probs at all and that was 3 months ago. I dont think you really need to relocate it.

    That is an option. I remember inpro doing some crystal type all black ones but I cannot find any info.

    Yeah or naeh on an all black VR with black wheels? If no then please give some suggestions.

    Front wheels are often ok but the rears are generally a bit too wide.

    Just get them to change the oil and oil filter then stamp the book. You can then change the plugs ect yourself and take more care over them. This way you will save a little money, have your book stamped.

    My exhaust is soon goona be on its last legs and I may have found a supersprint Mk3 16v system. I believe this system fits the VR but would anybody know for sure? I have checked thier website and the back two boxes do have different numbers.

    Cool. Your car looks really classy. I think I'll put my wheels back to silver after seeing these pics. Just a few questions about your lights, when are they angel eyes only on and when you are on main low beam does the inner angel eye ring light up? Are they as bright as the standard lights?
