    Not sure if this has been mentioned before but how about a section where we can upload a pic too see what people look like? I went to Ragley yesterday & recognised loads of the cars but none of the owners bar 1 or 2! I did meet a few in the end though 8)

    Yeah I could do with a harness! As far as I know it came as 2 discs, bells, pads & caliper mounting brackets as my car is using the standard VR6 calipers I believe - I have ordered new Green Stuff pads since & Golf Vr6 ones sitted straight in - my car also has a big disc conversion on the rear too.     I've got the Hi-Spec conversion on my car - 312mm discs at the front, come with bells etc, brackets for the calipers and what not - got drilled/grooved discs at the rear, stainless hoses all round, green stuff all round - Its true, it stops like a bitch! ha ha! When I brake hard it sounds like the landing gear of a plane is being lowered! Also when I brake hard, they are so good at slowing you down, you can slide out of the seat!

    Does anyone know if the Golf VR6 is know for water leaks at all through the rubber door seal? After the heavy rain on Saturday my passnger side carpet is soaked! The roof lining was a bit damp, no holes on the floor or anything and judging by the smell of it its been coming in for a while! The smell is amazing! %-6 Gonna try replacing the rubber and see if it makes any difference

    Hi mate - it should be on a sticker underneath the boot carpet - mines on the right hand side of the spare wheel well - white sticker and will have the paint code on there. Will probably be in some of the documentation if you have it but not sure what part 8)

    I wouldnt order patent parts if you want a good fit - patent parts are purposefuly made to not fit spot on as VW dont want people selling parts that will fit as they will lose out when it comes to insurabce work etc - I have heard that Volks Apart are quite good though.

    I have one fitted to mine - cant say I noticed an amazing difference but it felt a bit more responsive and sounded better & on the rollers I got 214bhp from a de-cat, exhaust, filter & more than likely a chip of some sort but I havent fitted one or looked at the ECU yet. You'll need to put your cat back on for MOT time unless you have a friendly MOT tester

    Im for the blockades and think the truckers should cause as much havoc as possible & so should anyone else thats joining in - just to let the government know that the Uk doesnt always take things lieing down - I can live without petrol for a week or so - Im looking at a ban for a week or 2 on the 20th September so this may conicide nicely! Re: Signature - Cheers Andy that was from when I took the car round the ring in June - how my mate managed to give a thumbs up to a photographer I'll never know! 8)

    I have the full Votex kit on my VR6 and you might be able to still get the rear spoiler from VW if your after something different - its only slightly different from a normal rear spoiler but is a nice subtle change 8)
