    I've fitted a Helix kit a few weeks ago - Im pleased with it! I ordered it from Demon Tweeks and it came in 2 days. I fitted it and drove 2000 miles very hard inc a trip to the ring and its fine, its a bit juddery in reverse but I think thats just a charcteristic of the type of clutch it is.

    I was there! I didnt see the yellow VR though - saw another one though J5KEX I think it was - he's a member on here, sounded like his car was supercharged but didnt see what times he got. Was a really good weekend, loads of beer & cars!

    Mines de-catted & I found that it opens it up a little bit - it feels like it rev's easier plus it sounds nicer ;0) I noticed that it felt a bit torquier - not massive amounts but it felt better.

    Kevinhaywire - Not sure if you go on the clio sport forum at all but one of my mates (John Campbell - S** RTJ) has the stripped out Cup 172 with 202Bhp and was the fastest Cup 172/182 of the day. On pull aways were pretty much even - both have pretty much the same top speed but at a pull away around 110-120Mph I do him every time. As I've said - another of my mates has a chipped Mk4 GTI and were pretty even when racing - Not that I have to prove it to anyone but I've got races with the clio and the Mk4 on video - I beat the Clio round the ring 5 laps out of 9.     I really had my heart set on going then I got sent an invite to my best mates sisters wedding which screwed things right up! Looks like a really good show.

    I like the Votex bodykit - looks great ha ha ha The A59 looks amazing but I'd prefer a subtle kit on a day to day car

    Thats what I thought it was meant to do but when I flick the switch it just revs as normal - probably have to get it looked at.

    Yo! Anyone have this fitted to their car? I found a Racelogic ECU behind my glovebox and think its for launch control - theres a switch on the dash witch is linked to the Racelogic box but it doesnt seem to do much - anyone have it and know how to use it? 8)

    A friend of mine has a 1.8T GTI which has been chipped with an air filter and our cars are pretty evenly matched on the motorway - not tried pull aways from still though.

    I've got a set of LHD FK lights and havent been flashed by anyone or pulled by the police for them & it passed the MOT on Thursday! Depends how much your paying for them - I got mine very cheap & couldnt say no!

    I'd say take them off - best suited to Saxo's and Fiestas etc - not that they look crap or anything, just dont think they suit the Vr6! You dont think Michael Bolton is trendy?! ha ha ha

    I also hate speeding - I've fitted a relay that cuts out the fuel pump when I hit 31 Mph

    Mine averages about 18Mpg best being around 23Mpg, probably isnt right but I havent had the time or money to get it tuned yet - I drove 2000 miles pretty much flat out around europe on Mway's etc and spent

    Im going on Sat for some Renault day! My mate has a Clio Cup 172 with 202Bhp but nobody on his forum believes him so he's been challenged to some runs - Should be a laugh! I'll keep an eye out for u

    Warren - my Bilstein coilovers were an absolute bast*ard to adjust and they are the same set up as yours with the 2 rings - I pressure washed them, wire brushed the threads & WD40'd them! Some of the rings moved quite easy but others I had to get the biggest adjustable wrench I had on them (this was about 2 ft long and on the handle I had a scaffold pole!) and they still took some shifting! I think mine had corroded inside slightly and no ammount of WD40 would loosen them! Their fine now though - I used a tape measure to calculate the drop.     Anyone know where to order these from or have any pics of one fitted? I've seen an article about them on the pocketrocket site and theres a price and a small pic there but I cant find anything on FK's website! Being advertised for $269.

    Corradogang* - I dont think my engines a piece of crap! I drove mine almost flat out for 4 days whilst driving through Europe, done 5 laps of the ring and when I got home I checked the oil & the water and the oil looked like it had just been changed and the water level was still on Max! Add to the fact that the temp was in the 90s+ and I was giving it some serious abuse I think its a testament to german engineering! My car was the only car out of 16 others that didnt miss a beat!
