    Yep paid by credit card - but as my mate had ordred 2 seats and they came in a couple of days I didnt think their would be too much of a problem, I will be able to get the money back from my CC company as I paid online etc - just a shame that theres becoming so many traders in the Uk just waiting to rip people off.     Exactly - my mate did get a seat from them and it arrived pretty quick so I thought I'd use them aswell but this has happened - god knows when it'll turn up now, still not heard from em so I guess their just ignoring the phone until its sent out or has arrived - cowboys

    I've posted this already in parts and suppliers but thats not a very busy section & I need to make sure my anger is vented to a wide audience ;0) I ordered a seat from GS Motorsport 3 weeks ago, I was promised it before my trip to the ring and for the last 3 days I havent been able to get trough to GS. Monday the phone was off the hook all day, yesterday the answerphone was on all day & the same today so far - I've left a few messages and I've not heard anything...     ODB1 Manifold wont fit an ODB2 car as the throttle bodies are different etc

    Well the handbrake light doesnt come on all the time - just randomly so could be a faulty rear abs sensor or something - be good to see what the cure for it is

    Cheers for the replies - not checked the coil pack or anything yet as its fine from cold but a clean cant hurt - I'll have a look for any arcing too. Mart if you find out anything let me know, its really annoying but its gonna have to wait til Im back from the ring now - glad im not taking my car!

    Ive got a misfire on my car at the mo, it seems worse after a longish run and its generally hesitating and cutting out just between 2-3k rpm - before and after these revs its fine. Had a new set of leads on it last xmas, they were proper VW red ones. I reckon it could be the leads - what do you think? I'll get it on VAG com before I buy some tho just incase. Also, might be connected - the handbrake light comes on sometimes when the cars missing.

    My mates 325i hasnt been painted yet and might need the head gasket doing plus his new wheels havent arrived yet - nothing like a last minute rush!

    My seat for the Merc hasnt arrived from Cobra yet! If it arrives too late I'm tempted to fit it to my car so might be having to swap cars and go in my mates Fiat Coupe

    If it was me I'd get everything back from the mechanic, strip all the good bits and sell on here/ebay to make some money back

    My mate took his Skyline for a power run last week at Engine Advantages, cost him £50 - their mapping sessions are quite reasonable

    Ah tyre pressure guage - defiantely needed! Dont attempt a fast lap with normal tyre pressures as you'll crash! I forgot in seotember and was going all over the place once the air in the tyres expanded, like driving on ice

    Dont fill it with fully synth - it gets too this for the engine when its hot
