    A couple of us are going in Sept if anyone wants to join us - Im probably going on my bike if not in my mates Clio Cup & we'll be camping again. Planning on going 1st weekend of September - same weekend as ED38.

    Yeah me too when I 1st went! I always end up buying a sticker tho ha ha Its like after a hard day at work you help yourself to a beer - a hard lap of the ring u go and get yourself a sticker after ha ha All this over a sticker

    Im not talking cars going round the ring- just yourself as a driver, if you have driven round the ring yourself - stick it on anything you like. If you havent been to the ring and driven round then its not the done thing to be sticking a sticker on your car basically - not that Im gonna be stopping people as Im not an international spokes person for the Nordschleife, people are free to do what they like but like I said in my Ed38 post, its a bit lame to put a ring sticker on your car having never even been yourself! My fridge has got a ring sticker but hasnt been round!

    Sticking a 'ring sticker on your car when you have never driven it is like making out you've slept with a super model when you know full well you havent! Let that be a warning for you all! :-p

    Its not quite the same as putting german plates on your car really but I see where hes coming from but thats not that same as putting a ring sticker on your car - just lame to stick 1 on and not have been there

    Good luck Nick - always best to fit OEM lambda probe, patent ones make the car run too lean & therefore are a waste of money and false economy cos you'll only end up buying a Vw one anyway!

    I went out for a few beers last weekend - just down the local and on the way home I couldnt walk, just after these pics were taken by my mate John I fell face 1st into a load of stinging nettles and then fell onto the kerb really hard! Check out the phone in the hand trying to send a text to my 'lady friend' - all she got was half a text of jibber jabber ha ha My best spiderman impression :-p

    What discs are a good upgrade to standard VRS/TT discs, grooved or drilled would be ideal, not both though as they warp quicker Cheers

    I recentley bought a CAT C car and the law say something like you only have to say its a CAT C car if asked, theres nothing on the paperwork so just depends how honest you are and if they do a HPI check. The car I bought was only a CAT C as it needing jigging etc and wasnt really driveable, if its just cosmetic its usally a CAT D, can you contest what the insurance company have said? If its not that bad I cant see how they can class it as a CAT C cos when fixed you'd have to take it to the VOSA and have it all checked out which costs you more money and for just a rear quarter panel I think t

    Ive taken my car in to have my VRS brakes fitted today (same as TT) will the existing bolts fit or not at all? Im just thinking I dont want the bolts to be too short - I'd rather call the mechanic and tell him it needs longer bolts for safety reasons etc if u know what I mean

    Yo people - my dads getting his wheels refurbed on his SLK but needs a set of wheels to go on it whilst his are being done so has anyone got a spare set of Merc wheels laying about or anything that'll fit - can be anything, steels, crap tyres doesnt matter - just need to be able to move it in and out of the garage for a couple of weeks! Need to be PCD 112 - offset 35 or so, doesnt really matter about the offset Cheers
