porche cayanne is also prolly an auto, SHIT loads of porche engine under the hood, HUGE breaks, MASSIVE amounts of torque (AND ITS 4WD with launch control so it will go faster than a nasa rocket of the pad) - its gotta have huge amounts of torque its a MASSIVE car, never EVER try to race a cayenne turbo, its like racing a non aspirated porche road car....(i.e 911t)...The topgear review on tele shouldve given you a heads up. rule of thumb, anything that looks expensive (be glad your £5000 car can actually give a modest run for its money, compared with something that is almost new and costs upwa -

rainbow planinums are excellent. most of the expensive component sets are very good nowadays but of course shine when matched with their respective amplifiers, crossovers and most importantly equalisers (the bit most people forget!!!!!), how people manage to get a decent sound plane in a square metal shell (i.e car) is beyond me .

Six Appeal, how do you get 205BHP from a vr6? Chip, induction, full ss exhaust (cat bipass?)...info on yer car would be great.. -
shrick...i must have shrick...There must be a rule about having a HUGE picture of all those engine mods i cant afford being stuck in my face everytime i read a post by you anorak...LOL . Has anyone got the torque curves for with and without shrick? p.s anorak, that is one HUGE MONSTER of a baby

basically, you can listen to music at high power outputs (until of course you hit the speaker max, at which point they lose electrical efficiency...and blow up LOL) Always handy to know that you can blow your speakers by having 1. too much power + high vol 2. too little power + high vol moral of the story is...DONT USE HIGH VOL .

i have 1.5 degrees and the car runs perfectly. -
agreed. I find that the ride even with standard springs and shocks (albiet with 17's and pzero's) when i go over even small variations in road surface whilst accelerating it feels like the wheels are boucing over the road and completely lose grip....which means spin . Wish it were rear wheel drive.

speakers will distort when not powered properly. Burning is usually associated with high powered amp's pouding low powered speakers. Also check the resistance across the speakers and make sure your head unit/amp can handle it.

god, they both look like dogs....sorry. Young drivers + ragged around + not looked after + paintwork not loved = totally put off. Glad to own my own VR, god there is some crap out there.

Posing with 17's is easier. 17's dont help with - 'wake up in morning look at car salivation' problems. I really wanted to get porche alloys, but quite a few people have them already. Try to go for something not every person has got (for that unique look). -edit - although there are a lot of different style porka alloys, most of the old ones have already been 'featured'. yes, those who dont have shrick, we must buy shrick soon (money is irrelavant, my leg hurts from all the clutch control and gear changes). who else has a the symptoms of the vr6 grin? damn its a good feeling, also i've never had a car that you can hear cooling down (i.e as the metal cools), after its been used 'properly' in its native enviroment...M1. its important for health reasons to turn your A/C on at least once a week. If left very very very nasty bacteria and fungi can grow on the cold plates. It's becuase of the moister that condenses on these promotes bactrial growth in a humid enviroment (although its cold!). Please, for your own sake, turn it on once a week. type A/C hygene in to google for more info.

I've had my vr for just over a week now. Tonight on my way home, i realized what a monster it is. I think today was the first day i was comfortable opening up the throttle on a clear stretch of motorway. I'll be honest, the speed and power is FRIGHTENING! Our family also has a few other fast cars (faster) but non of them deliver them in such a smooth, but raw edge that the VR does. It really is extremely powerful. After doing alot of reading about, What minty says seems to be true (about o.e dampers and springs not really being matched). But i rang GMAX up today, and they assured me, that my springs and O.E dampers will work perfectly and give increased suspension control, a drop of up to 40mm and retain some comfort. I'm willing to give it a go, my garage says its takes 3 hours to replace the springs. Sound right? My garage also tells me that eurocarparts 'ventura' springs are equally good on vr's with O.E. They are also in the range of about £50+. P.S Acf, i left my car outside for 3 nights and when
