    Had my car MOT'd at the weekend, and it failed for bulging brake hose on the front. Had it replaced so everything is fine. But know I'm thinking why not upgrade to some braided ones all round, so I've got few questions to ask. Are they worth it and would i feel any difference with them? Also they come with six hoses in the kit, i guess one is for each wheel so what are the other two for? And finally is the fitting guide anyway, and would it be difficult to do?

    They've been off winter should be going back on soon. Not as brave as you for running the through the winter months. What wheels have you got on know, as i thought you sold your set.

    Need to get some new tires for my standard 15" alloys and can't decide between these 2. Toyo proxes T1R or Toyo Proxes PX4 So what do you guys think, going to be getting them 195/5015 as they are a lot cheaper and it will give a little stretch i think.

    you need to buy a new regulator, ushally find them on ebay. I bought mine from the dealers, i think paid around £70 for it. Then its just a case of rplacing the motor off the old one. It will also be good idea to grease the the cogs for the motor while your at it.

    I've got a few waxes. I'm using colinite for winter, but in the summer its a different story. CG 50/50 P21S blended with nattys blue. Not one on top of each other. CG xxx Zymol concourse for the shows and a few others. Tried the DODO stuff but didn't seem to get on with it at all.

    Waxing and detailing, i think is something personal like wheels. It all comes down to what sort of finish your looking for and what you like the look of.

    Ebay is your friend, or a scrapyard Just look for any MK3 Golf as their all the same.

    I was just going to say, you need to spray the insides aswell to get that factory look. When i did mine i wrapped some kitchen foil over the plastics to prevent them melting

    Changed the look of the boring white dash needles, to give a bit more flavour. Before After Fitted no lights on Lights on Closer Not sure if I've posted this before but here goes, illuminated gear knob. Not sure if you can see this properly, but I've put mood lighting in the door pulls like the VW Touareg. Smoked the standard lights and new indicators fitted. Before Now

    Just answered this question for you. You can't buy that piece separately as Spindat-dub said you have to buy all 3 pipes with it. Which is about £70 i think.

    Right I fixed my coolant leak from the T-Pipe from a part from a MK4 golf. The part is not exactly the same as it has a slight bend in it. But it fits and doesn't cost a lot. Old T-Piece pipe with a pinhole leaking near the small pipe going to the expansion tank. Golf MK4 pipe fitted. Part Number 1J0 121 087 B about £5

    Have you tried checking if the is any voltage at the plug end on the motor. I would have done that first before changing anything. And i think you need to find a new garage that know the basics of electrics.

    Are you sure not the mount it self, as im sure the gearbox mount has some sort of fluid in it. Have you smelt it to see what it smells of.

    I'ts just a T-piece i've found on the net, the small pipe that comes off it is the one that concerns me. As i can only find one with 16mm fitting think it needs to be smaller.

    Does anyone know the diameter of the pipes, as i might have found a solution for us all. For a lot less.

    Xyber, what sort of foam lance are you using with this, and where from.
