well ive been offerd a box from car thats got under 90k on it so ill pick it up an bolt that in i think! shame as id had no trouble with the gearbox before that!

the casing is intact but sumit has gone around the diff area, i was only in first just pulling out onto a busy main road , there was a thud an nothing!

ok i thought the clutch had gone! its well worn but not the cause of this problem! err pulled onto the road Monday morning let the clutch out an boom there there was a a judder and a bang an no drive! i could put it into gear accelerate and not move any were , Have taken gearbox out , drive shafts seems ok! can put the gearbox into gear and turn the shaft in the bell housing an the cups that hold the drive shaft wont turn? i no nothing about gearboxes atall! infact they scar me a little bit! any ideas any one?

Always the way! i wanted bfi ones as they are more to my budget ! otherwise id go for vibratec ones!

As engines coming out for chain replacement soon, i am going to replace the engine mounts! i would like some bfi mounts , is there any one in the uk who is a stockist of black forest mounts? Cheers Ed

Yer the loom was fine! though if i pushed the connector to the right it ran like bag of shit an to the left it ran fine! then eventually it just miss fired all the time an was giving intermittent sparks to 3 , 4 and 6! im no pro when it comes to engines im still learning! Might be worth seeing if any one close by has a coil pack you can try! see if it makes a difference!

I purchased a coilpack from a company off ebay , aftter fitting it it worked fine for about a week then developed a bad ass misfire! Only really misfired once engine got to running temp! After a good old play an a new set of hts and sparks i found out it was the connection into the coil pack that was the problem! Dodgy pins on the coil pack! i got them to replace it an doesn't miss a beat now!

had a feelng it may be an abs problem ! ill get the vag com out an see if it pulls any faults up!

every now an then i get a strong vibration when applying the foot brake! almost a strange noise to go with it! steering is also a bit strange at moment! Also seems to happen now on and off regardless of putting break on or not! putting alot of it down to suspension beeing on its way out! Anything i should check?

OH its a obd 2 as well with 116k on the clock!

lrfy mt car standing for about 2 days got back to it let it warm up an drove into town , on arrival my car started missfireing like a twat! parked up an came back to it 30 mins later to find it ran ok! a few miles down the road is missfires again an i started getting a clicking / ticking noise from the cam area! Not sure what to do or what it is! car is in need of a service! any ideas would be great!
