    Ive got a VR6 trimsport golf ball gear knob if you want it mate ;-) Either that or how about a MK3.5 gearknob, direct from VW. Talk to RichieVR if your interested ;-)

    Im currently on 161k and have no problems with my head gasket. No contamination in the oil (milky residue on the oil cap). What do you mean by pink marks around the water filler cap? Surely thats just dried up coolant that may have leaked through the overflow outlet? I wouldnt say mk3anni is posting poor advice, hes just suggesting that you dont definitely need to get the head gasket done, as that would just add more cost to an already costly job (I know as ive just had my chains done!). BTW, my car is worked on by guys that work on VW cup cars (specifically VR6's and MK5 GTI's).

    Sorry, whats the issue here? Blondie just said that you need to login to see the pics/vids, not everybody wants to sign up to another website you know. And by saying 'son' I doubt she was trying to disrespect you in anyway. Congratulations on getting the first pictures/videos up though. Was a great show and great weather, completely different to Spring Festival last year where it was very cold and raining! Spent most of the day huddled up in Claires car (now knightrider's). Good to meet up with old faces and some new ones. Cheers craggsy to, I owe you a beer ;-)

    Not sure which one is which but I think one of them is for the aux water pump. Sorry cant help anymore than that.

    I recon 35mm all round mate. Have you got your arches rolled? When I had my 8" design 90's they would scrub slightly on the rear drivers side arch. Ran them with 25mm adaptors.

    Always loved the look of the 928 rims. Is it just me or does that one on its own in the 2nd pic have some damage near the lip at about 1 o'clock?

    Im making sure my car is on the club stand at every show I go to now! :-o Im sure this wouldnt happen at a vdub show though, very shocking. Surely somebody saw it happening?

    Go for it Nick, we can do with as many 'official' photographers as we can get our hands on.

    Have you ran a diagnostic on it using VAG-COM or the VAG tools? That will tell you what's wrong as it may just be a sensor.

    Yes, if it needs doing. Can probably be done using VAG-COM too by somebody who knows how too. Id try swapping them over and see if that works first though. Would be helpful to run VAG-COM on the car after fitting the new ecu.

    You may need to reprogram the new ECU too.

    If the brakes need bleeding then it is best done using VAG-COM as that tells you what to do and at what stage as wheel as activating each solenoid to bleed each caliper in turn. This is from my understanding and from what ive read up on. Please correct me if I'm wrong though.
