Shell optimax has just got added "octaine booster" in, which after a while settle in the tanks at the petrol station, thus lowering octain levels. shell optimax is a true 78ron fuel with no added "octaine booster"

I had the advanced AA check on my VR when it was in shefeild, they were quite thourgh and fount some problems that the garage fixed, you know it's ok when the garage welcome them sort of checks, as it makes you feel they are more genuine.

Ive used nothing but ultima ever since i first filled her up, I tried optimax but i didnt notice any difference with optimax in. but my car pulls really hard id definatly say that the VR's run better on this fuel!

It's called being in the right place at the right time and it's a one off deal. I dont know about you but im 100% sure id make my money back on it _if_ i sold it seperatly when the VR6 goes.

I think it's down to the size of the throttle body that would detrimine that.

Thats true binliner, although the diamiter of my exhaust shrank a total of an inch as it got to my backbox on my old system
