hows does £300? including fitting of my schrick and new eninge mounts?

vince charges 650 + VAT for head gasket... pretty standard price from what i understand.. u only see mayo on ur cap in extreme cases... normally a hydrocarbons chemical check shows up the problem, failing that, then a leak down test should Identify the problem! getting mine done for a small fee just ordered a thermostat (nuspeed)

well, it's fucked! top end will be off later on tonight, head skimmed and gasket replaced.

they've done a leak test, but under pressure, the reason they have done that is bcos ive got a leak on my coolant housing and it needed to be put under pressure to see if the leak showed. Pete

not what i want to be hearing, especially when my schrick arrives tomorrow! I'm not loosing any water, im not having any sort of misfire, im not loosing oil, i've got no mayo on my filler cap, having a job done today on my car, the garage just phoned be back to say my head gasket is on it's way out, they asked me the above questions etc.. to which i said it's fine, and has just rolling roaded in at 200BHP+ .... they say they have found "gasses" in my combusion chamber, are they talking bollocks? is there anything else i can check, or get them to check to back this up? Next question... how much

ive had a few runs down the 500, i was having a play with a Teg, i was stuck to his rear bumper at 155MPH, unfortunatly, my rear bumper melted, hence me getting a new one from sumone on here

the bulbs have gone in my climatronic! makes seeing it at night some what difficult, has anyone changed the bulbs on these at all? and is it easy? Pete
