gonna find out what sensor is faulty when it's having the service or is on the VAG-COM at the RR day... then i'll just get the sensor cheaply and replace faulty one i assume it's a sensor as the ABS worked fine.

well... ABS light permently on! no sign of ABS activitty at all! had my rear sensor's cleaned when my discs where replaced, they fount no fault either ont he ABS.... it _sometimes_ goes off but the ABS doesnt work, but u can hear somet griding/making a noise from behind the peddle! any one have a clue?

i hope my service does! average between 18MPG and 24MPG.... although i always use ultima in mine! optimax sucks

I'm only 19 and drive my own VR6, 2.5k a year in insurence though, but it's well worth every penny! -
i think it's just pumps or what ever that's priming up... my mates VR who lives down the road has the same noise.... ive not worried my self too much about it.

I have the same noise when i start my car in the morning... usually goes away within a few minutes... i've asked this question before on here and club GTI, and it appears that the majority of VR6 owners have the same noise....

vr6jay : what side are you after? If ur after a driver side.... i'll go halves with u... i've got a cracked one too. but it's passenger side! I think the lense on there own are bout £76 + VAT!

yea, they are called a wind in tool or somet.... saved me a ages when i did my rear pads... shame my discs are nailed too... they go in on the 2nd
