Updates...

Boost pipes are almost done. Few more tweeks tonight and I will be happy with them. Fuel pump is in but I need to source some 12mm high pressure fuel pipe. All the body work got a bit of flatting down.

I'm also on the lookout for a new grill and 2 alpine white wings please...

Pictures.

Looks like inters is very achievable.

All fuel lines connected. All coolant lines connect. Gauges are in but wired up incorrectly. It cranks over but not firing up. I suspect that injectors are not getting power.

Attempt one. Flat battery

Attempt two. Fuel leak

Attempt three. Oil leak.

Found that the 90 union for the turbo oil feed was damaged and spraying oil all over the turbo.

Need a new 90 but struggling to get one at the minute. Pictures tomorrow.

Out of 64 bolts. None snapped but 4 rounded so will get some carbide drill bits and a helacoil and sort them tomorrow. Two wheels split so I can start with those for now.

With the actual car, once the 90 degree fitting was sorted...

Attempt 4. Battery is screwed

Attempt 5. Still not starting.

It's getting fuel but sparks not coming through so good. 4 were sparking. One was plug and one was a lead but we narrowed it down to the coilpack again! 2nd coilpack and it's not even running yet.

Rang Tps Manchester and they want £234 + vat.

No thank you!

Gsf £65.

Should be getting that and new spark plug tomorrow morning.

just to remind you the engine had no oil in when i sold it to you

its looking really tidy

Haha yeah I remembered. And thanks. I'm hoping its just the coilpack.

That coilpack was on my car until I sold it to you mate, it was working fine. It was in better nick then the older 1 I had, which had cracks in it!
