Bought it as a complete shell with most of the bits included.smoothing beginsAll the bits that came with itbay paintedseam sealer removed and a bit of smoothingEngine out of the mk3bye bye mk3. Off to the scrap yard in the sky!The smoothness painted in white primerNeeds tidying a bitBought myself a treat off tonyVRT bit of paint another treat thats all for now. hopefully get some other bits done this weekend. Ignore what it's propped up on The engine bay with no engine.Wiring will be removed tomorrow. All brackets. Paint will be removed and will all be smoothed and ready for paint on Friday. The engine loom is wrapped black at the minute so you can't really see it.Finish work at two so go home and get wire brushes out then lots of sanding! Post pictures tonight. Looks much better without all of that in. Sure I don't need abs. :S Bit more smoothing.Organised mess Outer wing section cleaned and primered.The beast I have been driving all weekend.Quick trip up to Scarborough Picked up this off a very nice chap!Came with lots of parts. Came with a charge cooler set up but going intercooler so that will be up for sale.The engine spec is. Uprated rodsUprated pistonsArp head bolts and rod boltsSp intake manifoldAdjustable fuel pressure regulatorUprated Bosch inline fuel pumpMocal oil coolerLarge valve headSpa exhaust manifoldTurbonetics turbo.That's all I can think of for now.
