  1. Yeah got this in the shed; Plus a lower mile engine, though I have been offered a rotrex charger at a good price so the Zengineering one may be up for sale soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Yeah it's healthy enough, wasn't expecting much more as it doesn't feel that fast. If I was worried about bhp figures I'd have bolted all the other go faster bits I've got laying around on it by now;) Started getting a few bits to get the interior looking a bit better now, starting with these; Won this on eBay brand new in box! Still need a n/s one though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Not done a lot to the car over the last few weeks, needed some time off! But today I popped into tx autosport in Harlow as they make stainless exhausts, I know them pretty well as they've done a few bits to my van and I want them to make my eisenmann back box fit my miltek centre section, anyway they had a rolling road shoot out going with a couple of spaces left and it was £25 a go so I thought why not! Be interesting to see what 171k does to an engine, the old girl made 177bhp with the schrick, decat and miltek. Here's the graph, Will get the video of it up when I figure out how I do it?! Sen

I sat behind a new merc in traffic the other day and got a sun tan off of the brake lights! There's so many and they're so bright it's unreal!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Painted calipers does add 10bhp though! And I think I'll leave number plates with names on to people who like minis, smart cars and white range rovers:) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've got another one, buy a new car, (on finance) put air ride on it expensive wheels or rotiforms stand back win show done, then wrap it in some shit matt colour for next year .........not that I'm bitter or anything lol! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. About time I put an up to date picture here I thought Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. The h&rs I just put on the vr6 seem really nice, showed me the difference between an eBay special £200 set and an £800 odd set! Not that they cost me anywhere near that though!
  11. I've experienced most makes of suspension/coilovers over the years between me, my mates and customers and those things hurt you're bloody back after 10 mins lol! There was just no give and he wasn't running it particularly low or anything. Though I'd like to hear someone else's view of them.
  12. One of my apprentices fitted some ap coilovers on his little 1.2 turbo Clio and they were....erm how can I put this f*+~ing harsh!!!! Would've been great on a silky smooth track! They might be different on a heavy old vr6 though!

Welding looks good if you're new to it! Won't take much to get that looking nice, a little skim of filler some paint and no one will ever notice;)

  15. I've hardly driven the thing because the weathers been shit since I taxed it! I've just this minute seen a gritting lorry drive past my house, typical! But yeah from the bit of driving I've done it does make a massive difference,I can see why people spent 2.5k on them back in the day,it almost felt like there was something wrong with it before, like a massive flat spot before 4000rpm, now it just pulls the same all the way through! Would highly recommend them,if you can find one at the right price! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Porsche wintercults 7x16 front 8x16 rear Continental 195/40 16's all round 40mm h&r adaptors front 35mm fk adaptors rear Front arches rolled slightly at the top retaining the splashguards Rear arches rolled and rear bumper trimmed very slightly And no rubbing:) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Some of their bits seem a bit overpriced, I bought a drivers door loom from them the other day because of broken wires and my mirrors not working and when it turned up there were 3 or 4 broken wires and the plug was cut off of the central locking pipe, because "that's how everyone does it apparently" in all fairness though I sent it back and he refunded my money straight away.
  18. In between the rain, hail thunder and bits of sunshine today I've got the engine bay cleaned up a bit so it matches the rest of the car! Got rid of some of the cavity wax on the chassis legs, horrid stuff! Here's a before and after of the inner wing; Even cleaned and polished the inside of the bonnet; Did it by getting a bit brave with the jet wash, some thinners on the cavity wax, finished off with a bit of engine laquer, so now it's a bit closer to the finish of the rest of the car; The car got a bit wet for the first time much to my annoyance! But got a lovely bit of beading; Sent from my i
  19. Yeah she's on the road and yes I'm itching to get the charger on, but want to leave it alone and just drive it for a bit! Just treated myself to an engine stand only £60,so got the spare engine I got with the other bits on it ready for me to play with over the year! Plus it's far easier to move about now; Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. That's good to know, the only reason I'm a bit worried is because I'm pretty much on top of a hill where I live and the wind is always blowing! So it blows the cover around a bit no matter how tight I do the straps! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Got the VR home this weekend, drives really well, just a slight knocking from the rear,so I might play with removing the helper springs and change the top mounts, was very pleased as the standard front wheels rubbed when I first fitted the coilovers which doesn't happen now:) I spent most of Sunday cleaning the interior, you can imagine what it was like after all of the work the cars had done,so after hours of hoovering, scrubbing and plastic cleaning products it looked like this; Going to keep a look out for an oe recaro interior as I'm not a fan of leather. Really want the car to look like it
  22. Well got the car sort of finished and drivable today still a few little niggles to sort and went with the miltek oval exhaust as the eisenmann required to much bodgery to fit with the us rear bumper and I couldn't be arsed! Heres the proof! Loving the difference the schrick makes! I now realise why people payed £2500 new for them! Will get some pics tomorrow of it after I've spent all day cleaning it inside and out, Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Hopefully be doing that tomorrow:) got the schrick all fitted and finished this week, got all of the ecu, tank and that hidden in the scuttle,so that all you can see is the 2 vacuum hoses going in and back out to the actuator; Then for the rest of the week it was just more and more polishing and little bits of finishing and sorting out problems like changing the passenger door loom because the central locking didn't work because at some stage I'd broke the little pipe off of the multiplug....doh! luckily found one on eBay for £7 delivered. Thanks for the replies. What are the linings made of? Been looking at a couple on eBay that are fleece lined.
