Going to get these wheels on the car then I'll decide whether to hord sorry keep the comps just in case I change my mind......... I'm gonna need a bigger shed I think[emoji15]. Yeah I'll try to put a little how to together, the only problem is, it takes a long time in between colour/clearcoats for it to dry properly and you really need to do it with 2 pack lacquer so it drys as hard as the surrounding lacquer, as 1k lacquer will never dry as hard and it just polish's away if you get what I'm trying to say........... basically it's a right ball ache! -

that was the only tyre our suppliers had in stock in 195/40 17, though I may get brave and try a 185/35 17 which would be almost the same rolling radius as my 195/40 16's on there now, only nankang make those though! I don't want to have to wind my coilies up that's against my religion![emoji23] -
Hi you will probably be best off going for an oe one and keeping your eye out on eBay would probably be your best bet trying to find one, though they are quite rare and tend to go for £150+, hope that helps[emoji106]

Sounds like you're a lot more into it than me, I just wanted a pond so I could throw food in there and stare at fish after a shitty day of working on cars![emoji23] might have to have a chat with you about ulcer problems though, lost a couple this year[emoji35]! Anyway back onto the correct subject! These turned up yesterday BBS Avantgarde design S in 8x17 5x100; [emoji16] Ordered up a 195/40 17 nankang ditch finder pro or whatever it's called[emoji3] to give one a try, Took her into work today as the sun was out, got the air con re gassed; it's all working spot on now[emoji41]I'm sorry but -

Thanks mate! Got koi, including a couple of nice Jap ones, orfe, some inherited goldfish[emoji57] and my favourite Serg the sturgeon! Who's growing well[emoji4]! -
It's ok I've found the answer to Bealieboy's snoring! The empty square in the middle is the cricket pitch apparently, your tent can go in the middle of that next year![emoji23][emoji106] Sound good to you Cabbs?!

I've got a spare new belt for the V9 set up if that helps Pete, there was nothing else anywhere near close available off the shelf over here, or even in the states when I looked[emoji106] -

That's a brilliant photo, going to get that printed off and I've got a new Facebook background now![emoji106] -
As far as I know you can't change the tax band of a car, as long as the cars registered and insured correctly don't worry about it, I've had it before when trying to change vans to cars, when for example I put an interior and windows into a fiesta van they couldn't change it.

That's Josh's fault! He was egging me on! [emoji23] Maybe I'll start thinking about getting my other engine put together! -

Quite proud of this old girl after running faultlessly to Leeds and back to VW festival, there can't be many cars that can do nearly 175,000miles then can take someone bolting a supercharger to the engine! [emoji41] Now to get it booked into Stealth for a proper mapping session, can't wait! http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/17/0cf754e65840e703722b56d044527b70.jpg[/img -
We'll set you up in a tent the other side of the campsite, I reckon Cabbs isn't on here now because he's fast asleep cause somebody kept him up all night snoring, well that and the condensation dripping on his face[emoji23][emoji23]
-
I don't know, you should ask Cabbs who was in the tent next to us that you woke up with YOUR snoring [emoji23] I managed to remember to take a couple of pics, had a good crack and nice to put a few names to faces, looking forward to next year already though I'll go a bit slower on the bevvies though my head is still banging![emoji37]

There's loads of stuff on eBay to make this kind of thing up, that's where all of this came from It's all from a company called auto silicone hoses, or ASH for short and its all good quality stuff and well priced[emoji106]

Is it going to be like this all weekend?! [emoji23] and am I going to need a set of these fitted to the golf? As the weather down here is shocking at the moment! [emoji15]

Not a fan of de badging stuff now, seems very 1999 to me!
-
I think you can get away with just jacking it up, little tip though unplug your main fan or you might snap the plug![emoji106]

I'm up and running again, with a plugged in maf! [emoji16] Managed to attach the pipe across the front: Speed bumps are a definite no no now though!! Then took her out for a little run and after a couple of splutters at about 3500rpm it seemed to clear and run well[emoji41]! Just a final bit of tinkering and perfecting it now making sure nothing is rubbing etc and I'm ready for the trip up North next week[emoji106] -
Are you jacking the engine up at all? Don't remember this being a problem on mine
