It is absolutely brilliant! Still using any excuse just to go out and drive the thing some blurb and pics:

For the benefit of some who asked about the stealth turbo:
Firtly, I must say the level of service is top notch and I can't recommend the stealth guys enough. Vince and co spent a long time explaining everything that had been done, the reasons why and how to maintain the vehicle, recommending the best plugs, oil, etc. it was obvious that a hell of a lot of work had gone in to the car, and IMO it represented excellent value for money if you're seriously considering turbo but don't feel confident enough to DIY.
As for the car itself, well now I completely understand why some of you guys chose to turbo your VR6s, I've never felt such brutal power in a car before, it was disgusting and after the initial shock I was laughing all the way home.
Setting off for the first time was driven off boost due to congestion, here it behaved exactly like a normal VR6 should and if taken easy I think the mpg would actually be pretty reasonable. The helix clutch judders ever so slightly when pulling away, but I'm told that this is perfectly normal (it isn't enough to be a hindrance though). The custom exhaust note is certainly quite unique and hinted that something was a bit different with the car.
As soon as the road cleared it was time to see what this thing was capable of. From second gear I floored it, and held on for dear life! It felt like the car had been attached to a giant slingshot and catapulted down the road - everything around me just became a blur as I went in to warp speed. I was worried that the lack of Racelogic would see me endlessly wheelsplinning, but the LSD was more than enough in the conditions to put the power comfortably down. Third gear was even more savage and from here on it was just relentless, never ending power. The exhaust when opened up sounds like nothing else, and the recirc valve gives a god almighty whoosh when you let off the throttle.
What goes up, must come down though, and a random emergency stop showed me how good the tarox brakes were. I would definitely recommend them to anyone as the stopping power is almost as brutal as the acceleration.
After paying the final balance it was a 2+ hour journey home, which only re-highlighted how fast the car was. Even in 5th, it pulls extremely hard and it was a matter of seconds before I was at license losing speeds. Unfortunately I didn't really come across anything exotic to test the car against, but I'm not the kind of guy to provoke anyone on the road anyway. At 70mph you can drive off boost too so as not to empty the fuel tank too quickly! Through the twisty roads the LSD just made the car feel so much tighter and controlled, a definitely worthwhile upgrade.
That's all I can really say for now, but for anyone considering getting this done - you will not regret it. Yes it's a fair bit of money, but definitely worth every penny.

Once home I didn't hang about, I missed driving the car and needed to put it back together! I forgot to mention before, but I took the entire cream carpet to a laundrette and it came out like new!

Unfortunately the lovely connolised seats didn't stand the test of time, they ideally need a retrimmed but I think I'll hold out for a set of Recaros

Update, mostly pasted from my CF thread and some from the Stealth thread:

    Setting boost pressure, etc...

Power figures, plotted against my Stage 2 charger:

Rough spec list (I pick it up this weekend hopefully so I will know the full spec then...)

    custom 2.5” straight through exhaust/decat
    3” downpipe v-band
    Schimmel 263 cams
    2mm Steel spacer
    T04s Garrett Turbo – 0.70 cold, 0.68 hot
4” intake with JR air filter
    SPA T4 Turbo manifold
    38mm wastegate
    FMIC
    440cc Injectors
    ARP Con rod bolts
    ARP head studs
    Closed loop dump valve
    Mocal external oil cooler
    Vibratechnics mounts
    Dubpower HT leads
    Walbro uprated fuel pump
    Helix organic clutch
    Quaife LSD
    Vince map
Probably some other bits I've forgotten

Started messing about with a spare rear view mirror and cheapo boost gauge:

I didn't really want to put the gauge in the vent location by the headlight switch, I wanted it more in my periphery. I decided to gut the gauge, split the PCBs and join them together using some old PC ribbon cable into the rear view mirror:

Etched out the mirror backing using a dremel and fortunately I just about managed to get everything to fit inside the rear view mirror casing more importantly though - it works!

The wires need to be a bit stealthier, but I plan to run them up towards the headlining and then taking a long path down the A pillar. On the lookout for a better quality gauge with a nicer colour, but it was a real fiddly job so may use this one for a bit first and see how I get on

As mentioned, should be getting the car back end of the week/weekend so will update then

Started messing about with a spare rear view mirror and cheapo boost gauge:

Boo! But on the upside you'll have a well sorted motor! Looks the business up close and it'll be good to hear how you get on at a future show Difficult to answer at the moment as I haven't picked it up yet (and have tried not to think about it!), but I believe the price given was £5.5k with a Helix clutch. I've also opted for an LSD, Chains, and the head/gearbox given a once over as well as getting Vince to fit my big brakes (as I couldn't undo the bastard brake hose union!). I have maybe gone a bit overkill, but I wanted some peace of mind. It will definitely cost a fair bit more than the list price.Just read that back to myself, I must be mad! Gulp. But maybe it will explain why I opted to get the race logic TC and custom exhaust fitted later!
Saying that, for a drive in, drive out turbo conversion as well as having the Stealth aftercare and support, I still think it is good value for money if you're not too handy with a spanner (Fishwick persuaded me with this talk!). I actually enquired at various other places about doing a turbo conversion and they were very vague about how long it would take and seemed to mention hourly rates a lot. The Stealth kit is tried and tested, and with plenty of scope for more power if I'm feeling more mental. plus you'll have Vince on your side
