    Not sure weather its Pete doing updates or its just my fone but the forum has gone all plain with no colour or images, just text. Is it just me?

    I need a wash mitt and drying cloth then =\ I need a good lesson on washing my car! It was certainly an upgrade to my previous washing aids although I did hear of one of my mates girlfriends washing their car with a scouring pad which did make me cringe!

    Hahaha I was a little excited =\ gave her a good clean today. Sounds silly but its amazing how much difference a decent sponge and chamois makes! No smears at all! I'm getting old!

    I just find as luke says that a catch can completely stinks your car out! i would of thought running it close to the floor better but i cant be sure as iv never tried it

    Just a quick update, Just fitted my new HID's into the new headlights, i dont have projectors so its not 100% how i want it but im happy. finding somewhere to mount them was a nightmare! and i will probably have to change the position of the ballasts at a later date but it was christmas morning and i wanted them on theyre 6000k so they are a nice blue also the new battery is fitted and running perfect so no charging my battery every few days

    I Got an hid kit, a good an proper real chamois cloth that i swear is the whole of a cow lol A Nice new sponge, 6 microfibre cloths all different for different jobs, a frost gaurd for the windscreen and an air freshener thats about it for car related presents!

    195/40's on my 7.5s look fine and i cn also be a bit enthusiastic with the right foot and not have to worry, there may even be a pic on my build thread

    i used one for my last service and it saved a lot of mess!! the one i used had a good pouring spout on it so i just poured it back into the old oil can and bobs ur uncle!

    Exhaust fumes are starting to look a bit larey but I'm guessing that could b my Cat on its way out? Anyways yer compression test sounds like an idea, Will get it sorted in new year cheers fella.

    insurance are wierd, its more expennsive to have better safer brakes and also if you have no back seats, i no its generally because u wanna go quicker but thats 3 less people that could make a claim against you if you were to have a prang.

    Was Just thinking is a newly refurbed engine a feasable option as opposed to new chains? means o rings chains etc wud b in top nick? just an idea.....any thoughts?

    Thats my old beast i built last summer when i was bored, not the most practical of builds though and not the prettiest of amp and sub either but it did its job:P was suprisingly strong aswell, u could quite easily sit on it not that ud reli have any reason to lol.
