    ok so MOT was today as it got held back and suprise suprise.......Big fat fail! but not to bad! just a new back wheel bearing which i knew about and the reflctor inside my headlight has come completely loose from the light so it needs to be sorted, not quite sure if this is a simple job or if i need to take a trip to the scrappy!!! All in all, not to bad tho!!!

    i have.....unfortunately they just cause major drag on the car causing it to slow down, but i heard if you drill holes in the front of your car it will go quicker.....as shown by my detailed diagram....

    you can get a garage to do it or purchase 1 from tinternet, they are always handy to have! youl need a laptop tho

    Temp sensor and lambda....do a vagcom test on it, this will let you know weather there's any permanent or intermittent problems buddy.

    ahh ok so on a new set you will get a relay with it which is prewired into it, then you just take a live directly from the battery to thhe red wire of the relay, this just gives it a "boost" so to speak?

    yeah, ahhh i dont have a relay will try and wire it how my old ones were but just have an H4 instead of an H1 on one of the lenses, i take it this will gie better light or is it due to volt drop because the cable run back to the battery is so far? (so iv heard) iv read up on people reirig the lights using shorter runs but weather this would work, i dont know. Sarting to get sick of standards as its starting to feel rather dangerous through the backroads as i cant see a thing. no word of a lie, my high beams are only a fractionn brighter than my dipped, how does that work??

    ahhh ok, well aswell as needing 2 nnew h4 lamps i only have one loom, obviously i need 2 so im missing one do i need a relay aswell or is this a myth? or is the h4 doing low beam them the h4 and the h1 doing hi beam?

    The torque on my mates old astra turbo in 5th was amazing! Just had straight through exhaust, sports cat and about 3 maps until he got it right. Was a right rocket for a tank! Mine liked better tho lol

    ok so just had another look and its an h4 lamp so im stuffed as i cant reuse my loom heres another bit that i only have one of....so going to nneed another from somewhere. It says H4 on it bt its not attached to the lamp, will i get this with the lamp or do i need to source one of these aswell??

    iv just been given a set of morrettes for free but on one side the loom seems to be missing. am i right in saying i can just use everything off my old o.e.m lights or does the loom have to be specific for this set of lights? i Want to spray them all up and get them looking spangley but shant bother if im not going to be able to wire them up. i did search and found another recent thread and people started saying theres relays and that they are h4 lamps?? didnt think this was required as there will be a lamp for each setting of my lights on there if that makes any sence? just though id ask on he

    i do love a good play but what does annoy me is when u get the fools in their cavaliers and saxos etc that fly round blind corners like their whole life depends on it, they then get away thinking they are the big man when actually i do rather like my life at the moment and dont fancy ending it or anybody elses to that point. i think i can safely say i do drive like a penis on the odd occasion but i drive like a penis responsibly lol.

    i cant wait!!! iv just got onto wow again, cant geet enough of zombies, scares the shite outa me wen im reli high up and outa nowhere a zombies in your face taking a nibble outa ur shoulder lol. They must be doing a lot of fine tuning to gt5 for it to take this long, got a feeling its going to be BIG lol its the game all old school playstation 1 gamers have been waiting for!
