  1. if somebody is thinking about doing it, this might be of some help; http://www.shrani.si/?m/u7/42cfBL8p/23022011111.jpg http://www.shrani.si/?2W/qa/1TGsetcq/23022011113.jpg http://www.shrani.si/?I/Lz/wQ92VDY/23022011114.jpg http://www.shrani.si/?0/W0/QNFq3pB/23022011117.jpg http://www.shrani.si/?2v/vB/XHFFGQM/23022011118.jpg left is the climatronic box, the right one is the original rrado. all you need to do is to swap the plastic air went, because the passat has a lot more room in the interitor, and therefore the wents are larger. some interior electric work is needed (2 sets of cables), und
  2. hi! will a golf' water hose fit the corrado, or are they completly different? is it possible to make some minor adjustments, for the hose to fit? this is the hose i can get for 10 euros: http://cgi.ebay.de/Kuhlerschlauch-Wasserschlauch-VW-Golf-3-VR6-1H0121101Q-/120632807630?pt=Autoteile_Zubeh%C3%B6r&hash=item1c164690ce so will it fit? thanks
  3. if u change the mechanism, i belive you wont be able to fit the standard corrado top. so if you wanna swap, you need to change the complete set with a passat one, but the curve of the roof is different on a passat (a bit more curve than a corrado). but if you fit a glass sliding roof from a passat, you can barely notice the curve diffrence, but you need some "constructive thinking", as you need to pad the mechanism of the sliding roof, in order to work properly. i have swaped mine for the passats, but i am changinig in back to standard, as i have bought new mechanism, which should work for a
  4. well it's the height of the tire i am concerned about. dont want my rrado to look like an offroader...
  5. well in the tuv i need to pass our mot, the declared tire is 205/40/17. but i can modify the tuv, so that is no problem. 195 on a 8j rim is a bit of for me-the tire would be stretched way to much... any pics of 215/40/17 on a 8j rim?
  6. hi! quick question: can i put a 215/40/17 tyre on a 8*17 rim on my rrado? or should i go with 205/40/17? i get the 215's for half the price, so what do you guys think? which is the more appropriate one? cheers
  7. don't worry mate, it took me a week to do it. i used everything from a passat, including all the sensors, wireing, etc... but the biggest trick was to fit the front panel in the dash looking stock. pics will follow, when the car is finished.
  8. cheers guys! another problem: i have installed the climatronic sistem, the pipelines for the cooler, but i only have the passat cooler, as the previous owner of my corrado has sold it. is there a chance to fit a passat ari condition cooler on my rrado or i need to get the corrado's (i cant get it in slovenia-no used ones, no new ones)? thanks for the help
  9. thanks guys! indeed it needs re-gassing, i just tought it might be something else. so i did it right, much less painful than i tought:D thanks for the help!
  10. so i have now installed the ful sistem in my car, i just need some touch up on the fornt display (just some plastic reconditioner). but i have a problem with the functioning of the unit-the frickin' display keeps flashing. any ideas?
  11. hi there! i am a proud owner of the 91' passat's climatronic sistem, which is going into my 92 vr6 corrado. i want to know if some of you fellas has already done this "upgrade", because i have difficulties installing the climatronic display into my rrados dashboard (everything else is already done). some pics of different solutions would be highly appreciated. p.s. sorry for the poor english. cheers, luka
