  1. What size are the mk3 ibiza cupra R brakes? will they not fit?
  2. I had my rear wheel adapters machined down and had the bolt heads done aswel so they sit flush. But when ive fitted them theres a clicking noise when i drive forward (but not reversing....). Ive grinded down the thread of the bolts (wheel bolts not the adapter bolts) and put black marker on the bottom of them. So when I remove them I can see if theyve been hitting the hub. Removed the bolts and no marker has been removed so im guessingf the length of them now is fine. But theres still a clicking noise. The clicking noise goes when the handbrake is applied and is reduced when foot brake is
  3. Incase you haven't already done so, copper grease them up! Do inbetween the rings aswel so they don't seize together
  4. How our weekend ended Cheers guys, was good to meet you to. Nice to put faces to usernames
  5. A few from the weekend that iv found. Ill add them as I find them
  6. Just checked into the hotel. Met a few people while cleaning the car. There's only 4 on the stand atm. The 2 whites, the rado and mine
  7. Had the car professionally detailed yesterday ready for UD Full swissvax treatment with best of show wax Few pictures taken to show the finish Ride height is getting sorted tonight and the wheels will be getting swapped over. US parts arrive in the post today so hopefully they will be getting fitted and wired up tomorrow
  8. cutting cost on the police is a bad idea. crime rates will shoot up becasue they wot have the man power to cope. You might think the police dont do alot but, but that really isnt the case if petrol prices go up then I wont be able to afford to go to work/uni and either will alot of people. More people will join the dole and the country will be worse off! All they are seeing is, more tax, more money. Buts clearly not working to get the country of the recession which is still ongoing. Even though they refuse to admit how bad it really is. Clarkson for priminester!
  9. Same, got my passes in the post today. still scary how much needs doing though!
  10. Do we just enter when we turn up for show and shine? Cos I want to enter
  11. Which cold air feed is everyone using? Needs to fit down the gap where the carbon canister goes. I was using a foil one from halfrauds but it was terrible. Everytime it moved it split. Thanks
  12. Am I right in thinking spaces for clubstands are already alocated? A local stand are thinking that if they get there early they have a pick, which tbh I can't see being right. They are mad for leaving at 6am on saturday!
  13. All mk3 wings are the same, where they be pov spec, gti etc.... I got mine from the scrappy. But if they come with arch trims watch out cos they can hide a lot! Best to collect wings, cos they are really fragile and will break if posted
  14. Going to be cutting it soo close! Got a lot of parts I need to collect and receive in the post next week and then fit them. Its quite scary how close it is and my car is still on stilts and standard wheels. Paint needs flatted back, car needs full detail, tyres fitted and stance sorted Thankfully I have all of next week off work
  15. Wheel adapters are getting maschine down today picked up my new drivers seat from the trimmers yesterday. Not a 100% match due to the material being new so its got a satin finish unlike the passenger seat, so im gunna have too cake it in feed. Goes into the bodyshop tonight to get the front end flatted down and new front end fitted tyres were ordered yesturday for the RFs (and i will get tracking done this time so im not replacing in 1.5k....) Got a rocco aerial fitted cos the base peeled off the old one. signal isnt the best but it looks oo much better! Just cant decide on what to do about en
  16. Any news on the spec list sheets? If not I could ge my mate to email what he had sent. Are the passes in the post?
  17. Hmm that's what I was thinking. Atm I've just got a long pipe that goes straight to the ground and the other side (intake side) blocked up. Will this cause any problems? My mate was saying it will be best to get a valbe and have a sealed system rather than venting the crap straight to the ground....
  18. That's how wide the wheels are 16x6.5 They'll be et (offset) 42 or high 30s I can't remeber exactly and that tells you how they are going to sit in the arches. Something with a high offset will sit further in Low offset will poke more
  19. When changing wheel size you got to adjust the tyre size accordingly. Rx2s are 6.5j so I'd run a 195/45 profile. Your never going to get it to match perfect. A 40 profile might be more suited but unles your running hard to the ground its going to leave big arch gap. Your speedo won't be exact anyway, especially with a car this age. My speedo says I'm doing 70 and the sat nav says 66/67. I wouldn't really worry about it unles your actually going faster than what the speedo says
  20. Someone has to know which is better, either the obd1 straight pipe or the obd2 valve.
