  1. Yeah, but I’d use a milder polish rather than T-Cut. T-cut is a very fine abrasive polish, used to rub out very fine scratches. It can be a good product to get rid of some small defects in the paint. If used incorrectly it can leave a marring effect, which will need a rotary to correct it. There’s plenty other alternatives which will give a much better finish. Autoglym Super resin polish is good but only gives temporary results (lasts for about a month or so and the effects are reduced after every wash). It has fillers which mask up the swirls. It’s also good to bring back faded colours.
  2. My ticket arrived the other day. Cant wait It was a brilliant show last year. Day tripping it again this year. setting off at 4.30 :-# Hopefully get a decent parking place this year. We had to park miles out last time. But we are determined ot get into the main car park this year haha. Gutted im not gunna have a mk3 VR to go down in :-(
  3. Ive got the carbon wax and its awesome. Waxed my car a few times and it looks like ive barely used anything. Water beads really well. I used dodo juice before and found it really good. (cant buy sample pots of this tto try out). Heard good things about collinite but never used it myself. Get a good paint cleaner Something that will strip off all the old wax. So your not putting new wax ontop of old wax cos this will dull the shine. A paint cleaner wont harm the paint, but helps to remove some contaminaion which builds up from driving. Ive go tthe zymol paint cleaner, but the dodo juice paint

Ive been checking ED38, pistonheads, ebay and autorader pretty much everyday for a good month or 2 and prices are pretty much the same as this blue 1. 2k will get me something like a '96 with 130k+ and most of them havent had chains etc.... done. I NEED a mk3 VR before Ultimate Dubs cos im hoping the polo will have sold by then. If i take the polo down to UD ill keep the porsche seats in, run the porsche wheels and ill want to keep it

Soo the hunt continues for a mk3 VR (mulbery, black or the iceblue/silver colour) Hopefully before Ultimate dubs....
