  2. Which coilovers did you use fella. That does look born again hard.
  3. Seems to be sharing your driveway with some degenerates there mate.
  4. Let Nat work her magic and you could supply extra elbow grease and tea
  5. Cheap detail that. Usually takes me a couple of months to get a car to where I want it finish wise.
  6. Do you need help with welding?
  7. Give it some time and love. You'll only regret selling it. Look at the smile it puts on your face.
  8. Nice deep looking finish there Nat. What lube do you use with your clay? I think claying makes all the difference.
  9. You'll not know how far you can go until you put the coilovers on. Lots of variables including the actual make of tyre will affect your clearance. As said before, get'em on and adjust to suit. If you find they rub then raise, rectify and then lower again. At least with adjustment you can change as and when time/budget allows. Get some photo's up mate.
  10. I'm not sure if anyone here has done this conversion yet but essentially the block is the same with the changed head and water galleries to suit, so the 24v head is not compatible with the 12v block. I would hazzard a guess and say it would be the subframe arrangement that would be the stumbling point what with the 4wd. There is someone doing a Haldex convertion on this site if you have a hunt around.
  11. Sits well buddy. Look forward to some more photo's
  12. If you pm Jim he can code a key through vagcom and any locksmith should be able to 'cut' the key. Check e-bay for key blanks. Too far away for me to help, sorry.
  13. Just out of interest, a red vr6 just went on e-bay for £441
  14. Where in Hedge end are we meeting mate?
  15. Has anyone come across or used Jamex coilovers?
  16. Well I had a look today and from top of tyre to level with wheel arch is 70mm front and back. Now clearly it needs lowering but with what shocks/springs as there are a lot of cheaper sets out there but are any of them any good? Also will I have other issues with bushes, droplinks and such? Any insight or advice would be gratefully received.
  17. I'll keep it in mind. How many of you going?
  18. Very nice mate. Any clues as to what bhp you're expecting?
  19. Must be my driving style buddy. Can't help my heavy right foot.
