I'll be in Portsmouth monday morning before travelling home from work if you need a hand. PM me if it's still like it then and you need some help. I do have the tools depending on fault.
No worries Buddy. You are more than welcome to have a look at mine when they arrive to see if you like before buying. If you need some help I can give you a hand to fit as well if you like.
Give Venom a ring as they don't list everything. I've got 4mo specific AP's coming, but they have taken 3 weeks to arrive and still aren't due until Tuesday.
I've spoken to people now who have lowered by 80mm and more. The 4mo lends itself to being lowered easily because of no restrictions like anti roll bars. Bottoming sumps out is a problem really low and modified top mounts for camber if going really low. My AP's are due on Tuesday and i'll keep you posted on how I get on.
There is a good mileage calculator for the iphone which can store figures for a number of cars and tabulate the results. Good if you're into that sort of thing.
I enjoyed the whole scenario from collection to repair and look forward to Frank's improvement and power gains. Could only be Jake........ But we love it.
Getting my arse handed to me on a plate by a twin engined mk2 fiesta on the strip. Anyone thought about twin engineing a VR now the prices have come down? 5.6 ltr, 12 cylinder, 4 wheel drive monster.
I enjoyed meeting up with everyone and especially the interior strip on Frank and the pit lane repairs. Also broke my Santa Pod cherry and got myself a starting point performance wise.
Cars all fuelled up and ready for it's first run at the Pod. Looking to post a datum 1/4 mile time before the enging mods start over the winter. And of course team South have something new making it's debut. Any guesses as to what a standard 4mo will do up the strip? See you all there.
