    If you don't want to use a spacer plate you can get the standard pistons modified, my tuner can do this www.hpower.de will cost you £100 plus postage to and from Germany. Can run a stock HG and headbolts up to 500hp. Turbo wise, the eBay one is ok, you can get the seals replaced for better ones to make it more reliable

    The Major has sold Long live the Major Quite emotional really, I've owned that car for 11 years, was a mere 1.8 8v when I bought it in 2002. Since owning it I've fitted G60 with BahnBrenner 1.8 16v kf 1.9l 20vT 2l 16v on carbs 2.8 vr6 Lol, I get bored haha So this is the end of my Vr6 MK2 adventure, thanks for following my build thread and I hope you have all visited the VWDRC and MAJOR LUCKY DRAG RACING TEAM Facebook pages (go on give them a like) But never fear, keep an eye out for the new car, full on dragster with a Vr6OC sticker on the side for a reason

    Plus there is about 15+ VR6's racing in Pro and Sportsman so you will feel right at home. If you want to get started quickly you could build a 14 second car and be racing for under 1k easy peasy and I mean everything, saftey clothes, licences and a competitive car. There is also money to be won, at each event in both classes No.1 qualifier gets £20 Event Runner up gets £50 Event Winner gets £100 Plus winnings from the race track, that varies on the amount of entry's in the class Last years Championship prize fund was £200 for the APIRA Championship (the 2 rounds at Shakespeare County Raceway

    It's that time of year again, pre-season is coming up and there is still time for you to join us. What is the VWDRC? There are two classes in the VWDRC - Sportsman and Pro. Both are open to any vehicle that is either powered by a VAG-group engine or that is built around a VAG car/chassis. If your car is running quarter-mile times of 12.99 seconds or less then you are placed into the Pro class. What is bracket racing?     Any reason why I cannot used a set of HT leads from my 4motion engine on my Vr6 turbo motor. They are so much easier to work with as they have the handle to pull

    The Friday of Big Bang the VWDRC have hired the strip for the day as there was no planned track action. We welcome any vr6oc guys/gals to come join in as the Saturday session is short and will be very busy. The strip will be open from 12-7 normal rwyb rules apply and it will cost £35 (unless your already a vwdrc member then it's £25) Come line up with some of the Uk's best VW drag cars. Big Bang doors open at 9am so plenty of time to get ready to race

    Noticed my 24v doesn't have an extra water pump like the 12v, any ideas why, have they improved the water pump? but I'm thinking I could fit all the setup from my 12v, would this increase the water flow, plus I like the idea because after a run I put a big fan infront of there radiator and I like the idea I can flick a switch while the engine is off and I can circulate the water still

    Is there any difference between the Obd 1 and 2 inlet manifolds, tried to fit my short runner on the obd2 engines but it cam off and obd1 motor, the plenum fouls on the alternator, or is the alternator different, any ideas?

    They are ideal if your running an aluminium intake manifold, wouldn't say you would need one on a stock motor, saying that I've just ordered one for my NA motor lol, but only cause my sister is on holiday in the US, HANDLUGGAGE lol
