  1. Lol, you may refuse them Ed, £350 for cams, ecu mapped to suit and it's immobilised too
  2. Yeah, I'm using the corrado g60 shifter as I've got a mishmash of gearbox, vr6 bell housing with g60 casing and g60 selector I can drop the whole shifter box out easy peasy
  3. I'm using a shifter from a corrado g60 can you do that? I also have a mk3 vr6 one lying around if it's any good to you
  4. Hmm Schimmel 288 Duration 288 Duration @ .050” - 245°/247° Lift- .455” Lobe Center- 112.5°
  5. Everything must have wife price always knock off the last digit
  6. There's electric superchargers on eBay, that's all you gonna get for cheap
  7. Next weekend will be the final runs with the 2013 setup, After yesterday's Dyno session we knocked out 205.4@ the fly (164.3@wheels) and 311.7 (249.4) with the nitrous. I already have some uprated valve springs a short runner inlet manifold (to try out) and plan to do a bit of match porting, but just wondering I'm running a set of re-profiled Piper 263 cams which have been fine but since it's coming apart is there a set if cams which would be better suited. I launch at around 4k and spend the rest if the run around 5.5-6.5k so want sumit that will be good in that power band. Have also looked
  8. Had the Major on the rollers today, Dynoed at 205.4@ the fly (164.3@wheels) and 311.7 (249.4) with the nitrous.
  9. Have work out what sort of power your looking for then see what size you will need, you can then pick up some cheap second hand injectors from another engine, (not specifically from a VW)
  10. For a road car, stock vr6 clutch will be good for 300, you will possibly need some injectors, but other than than that it's bolt on and a remap on a stock ecu
  11. Leave it at a sensible 8 psi and it will be fine, turn it up and they break, but for a simple 280-300 hp for 600ish is good value, as said you can replace bits as you go.
  12. Yeah, they are a completely different fit
  13. RUN LUG That's on my winter shopping list
  14. It was but I ran out of gas in 3rd gear, there will be an 11.5 in there next year
  15. Bloody should, if you need any advice on building a drag car don't hesitate to ask, also lookup VWDRC always on the lookout for new racers, what cage do you have?
  16. Should also improve throttle response
  17. Shame I don't have an upto date power figure, will only be able to compare 1/4 mile figures. I will have the car remapped again early next year as I need to make sure it's all correct fuel wise before I go shoving 120 shot of nitrous in there again
  18. Anyone actually tried it? I've purchased one and will give it a go. Fair enough I will loose a little low down torque but I'm not really using low revs anyway, hopefully it will help to flow better and improve my top speed. Not to mention I get to loose the heavy stock manifold that heat soaks massively
  19. Ok, So the 24v crank and 12v rods is a go, wicked, just need a million other parts
  20. I've been told the crank is the same for the 12v and 24v Vr6's, if this is true are the rods and pistons the same? Been offered some 12v internals at a good price would be great if I can fit in my 24v 4motion block
