  6. Hi all, Found a new problem today, when i was hoovering the car out i noticed in the passenger footwell on the right hand side the carpet was damp with dirty droplets of water, seems to be very recent and it seems to be dripping out of the lower footwell vents and feels like a slimy kind of residue, is this a prob with the matrix maybe? since i noticed this when i switch the heaters on the windscreen steams up but not condensation just the similar kind of oily residue on the lower part of the windscreen,, heres a pic below of the problem area, any help appreciated, Thanks,

  10. Well last weekend myself and lottie took the trip up to Gloucester to meet fellow members and good friends Sal and Martin, Not just a social visit but the vr needed some special TLC, Im pleased to say Tony did the mileage and all the top work rather than sending it to a local vw specialist and what a very good job he did, Recon head, valve stem oil seals, gasket set, New plugs, Thermostat housing (cheers martin for the spare part on hand) Dubpower low temp thermostat, fresh oil, Oh and had some shiny parts fitted at the same time, Happy with the results after a little cleaning
