    popped down to a local motorcycle restoration shop today, They do polishing, powdercoating, chroming etc, had a quote of £35 +vat to chrome a spare fuel rail i have, is this a good quote?

    Thinking of swapping the fuel hoses to stainless overbraid type, anybody done this? if so how easy is it to swap them?

    Me and the girlfriend went and had a look at one of these the other day, think it was a 1.6 or 1.8 tfsi or something, on a whole a lovely looking little car with an interior to match, would be interesting to see a sporty version tho,

    This arrived for me this morning... Thanks to TTpaul for his prompt service getting it to me got rid of the old tray, no more bits falling out now when accelerating lol fits quite well i think

    Its great, thought me and the misses would get an xbox to share as we both love the forza 3 game, only thing is shes on it for hours on end on a evening when it was supposed to be me on there and her watching the soaps etc etc lol, good thing is i get to be on here now whilst she is putting r36 engines in mk4 r32's lol (

    They are yes, i wasnt sure on the full crystal either, but think they go well with the black paintwork

    mmmh im confused, might just make a start and see how i get on, Think i will stick to the sub on one side and my amps on the other for now, would i need to dynamat the sub side of the car behind the box?

    is there any sound difference between mounting a sub in the boot floor and having it in a box to either side of the car? im in two minds now, keep changing my ideas, any help/advice is appreciated
