  4. Jack up the front of the car, and look up at it, you should be able to easily do the crank senser from there.
  5. Relays have a habit of working when they want if they are on their way out, get a replacement and try.
  6. Well see if there is a price difference in diesel and vr mounts, the solid front mount i could make for you ;-) and don't go fot the vibra mounts...
  7. Oh yeah, see what you mean now! The only thing is my set up is based on a t4 divided exhaust manifold, and they're all t3. But cheers for the link ;-)
  8. Get a solid front mount, don't really know about the diesel mounts, you could just get vibra mounts for the two rears?
  9. But i looked on the website and it looks like they all come with an internal wastegtae?
  10. Yeah i have, its a t61 aka t04s, t4 style exhaust housing, i'd rebuild it myself, so the companies want to know the serial number to get the correct parts. I'd need a rebuild kit (seals, thrust bearing etc), plus the main shaft, and possibly an exhaust housing, which doesn't leave alot left of the original unit, i might as well get a new, bigger tubby! I've got another wastegate coming, which i'l be doing over the next couple of weeks (work depending), so watch this space!

  13. Yeah, but that was ages ago in this thread! Bottom end is build to be abused!! :-)
  14. Have you checked the fuses, for the permenant live?

  17. Um, well, i like your thinking, its got me thinking.... :-)
  18. Yeah think so, might as well get another turbo.
  19. There may be adjustment were the hinge bolts to the body, you'll have to look under the head-lining for the nuts.
  20. Nice an shiney!! How much did it cost to paint?
  21. Well i needed to take my exhaust manifold off for the mods on it when my wastegate gets here, so the turbo had to come off. I got bored this evening and thought i'd strip the turbo, and look what i found... There is about a 2mm skin of rust all over the top of the turbo So i took the turbo itself apart, to find no seal in the compressor to back plate Scored thurst bearing :-( Then seperated the shaft out of the cartridge To find all this crap and coke in the turbine seal heat shield ;( The shaft also has heat marks on it around where the bearings would locate on it :-( So, don't
