  1. I would send it back but can't remember when i bought it! Probably just rebuild it, and use a 360 bearing. As long as theres no damage else were, should be fine.
  2. Yeah sod it, your right jim, have a go yourself. Do you think that kits good for my tubby? I took the inlet pipe off the turbo and theres oil all around the tapper into the compressor wheel, and she blew abit on the rr day last w/end, so think its time for a freshen up.
  3. Jigs? Yeah possibly, or some sort of balancing machine. But hoping not really, just looking into rebuilding it as i think the seals might have gone home. And thought i might as well get a 360 degree thrust bearing in there too.
  4. Yeah sort of thought that, just thought i'd have a go myself, can't be that hard can it??
  5. Has anyone rebuilt a turbo before? What kit should i get to rebuild my garrett to4s? Had a look at this kit, http://www.turborebuild.co.uk/p/product/0806303217-GENUINE+Garrett+T3+T34+T35+T38+T4+Service+kit/, will it work on my turbo? Cheers for your help!
  6. I gotta pull out of this i'm affraid peeps, got to work next saturday, hopefully just morning but could turn out to be a long day :-(

  8. Has your car had any body work done? Rear arches, or rear quarter?
  9. Why not have the wheel white, with a silver lip?
  10. Cheers btw, getting there! Once something that is linked to the ecu has 'faulted', the ecu will remember that that particular 'thing' skipped a beat so you know exactly what to change. So if your temp senser is faulty in anyway it will be picked up.
  11. Starting to sound like the temp sender (coolant), but plug vagcom on it to double check. Where are you based??
  12. Have a look on here, http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
  13. When vagcom is plugged in, it should always read something, even if you don't have any faults, it will always read the ecu.
  14. Try this site to work out wheel offsets etc. http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
  15. Probably go the saturday, maybe sunday too, seeing as though its close!
  16. It should twist to unlock it from the bottom of the tank.
