  1. If you add an older driver whos got lots of no claims it goes down, my ex put me on his insurance cuz he was slightly younger with s**t history, he put me on (8 years driving 8 years no claims) and it put it down by a fair amount...
  2. Havent seen yours mate... linky? :)
  3. as you are a premium member you can upload direct to the site, just click the post reply button at the bottom right and in there you will see and 'add attachement' box and there is a browse button, just click that and you can find your pick and upload it, if you prefer you can use photo bucket and past in the links in your reply. either way works,,, and dont worry about the condition, its good to see a project from the start and not all the vrs on here are mint... we're not like ed38 on here, you wont get slagged if your car hasnt had a full respray n sat on bbs...
  4. Very nice mate... you can always try stickin it in the for sale section... we dont like things done through pm on here.... better to keep convos in full view. Looks like a nice tidy motor though... looking forward to seeing your veee ahhhh six project!
  5. awesome project as always mate... look forward to seeing the end result! :)
  6. could have been the clutch overheating, were you driving in a 'sprightly manor' beforehand??
  7. engine oil should be done a minimum of every 10k but i do mine every 5k (or 6 months, whichever comes sooner) gearbox oil doesnt have a set time, i did mine 3k ago but im sure it had never been done, lol. its always nice to do it so you know its fresh, but once its done once i wouldnt worry.... same with coolant, just give it a change once a year or 2 years to flush out any s**t, that should do ya. :)
  8. ive not heard of the whole system needing replacement, just the abs pump or the sensors usually... who said its the whole system and what have they tried replacing before??
  9. sure there used to be one somewhere... its easy though, i did mine... follow this guide on how to remove the inlet manifold... http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?151347 then just remove the bolts from the cover and lift off... the gasket pushes into the cover itself, but its all self explainatory.
