Lose the ICE mate think what its doing for you 3K hole in your pocket VR6 Dragging her arse and the added wieght fuel economy and 0-60 time reduced. I suppose I get the same effect having 3 kids but hey. Sacraficing all that to blow your ear drums fella your nuts? Is your car turbo or not? If not thats were the first 3k should ave went. -
Up until my head Gasket blew Mon I jet washed the salt of her every other day at work and two bucket washed her with maggies shampoo dried her as normal and sealed it with next gen wax... My wife thinks I only go out there spending hours on the car to get away from her. But I just had to explain that everyones spends as much time as possibe with the one they love the most.

Hey people guess what on my way to work today and the good old head gasket went. I had suspected she was goin for a while but have never done one so big or with a chain. Im in work now gutted and am going to be stuck driving a company Merc Sprinter van happy days. Well the question is any advice from anyone who has done this would be great. What about timing? any additional tips. Cheers For looking Lads.

Too many people following suit ....... I take my hat off too you for trying a different route ......... Angel eyes debadged grill dropped to the deck and widened this is the road everyone takes the Euro look. If the Carbon Fibre bonnet is a bit jap well so its ur motor style it the way that suits you ...... Right rant over you did ask for opinions and in mine its not for me I think you could spend the money alot more wisely with alot more advantages. NEVER EVER buy a car thats is not the colour want as you may grow to hate it ......... I learnt this with my bright red BMW. Good Luck

I saw this bumper and grill conversion on e-bay when looking for a new bumper. It looked awesome on the car featuring it in the add. But this looks a shabby job on this one. But fair play for straying from the usual front end conversions ie euro or vento ... But still not for me

I did an awesome one just recently ........ Had new HT leads and fitted them lovely job. Then my mechanic told me it was time for some Forte top end treatment so I dropped the oil out of her replaced my filter then filled her up with oil. I run this in then opened the bonnet unscrewed oil filler cap poured in £15 worth of forte and then slammed the bonnet onto the oil filler cap which was sitting on my number 6 HT lead and severed it. I then took the car for a thrash and realizing she was only firing on 5 i said to the wife somethings up, so had a look and my engine bay had a fresh coat of

Can contend with that, I have some awesome B roads to work every day 30 min drive for most 15 in the VR and i mean thrashing it at 5:30 am and she is doing 25mpg. If I have my wife and kids in the car fully loaded on a long journey shes running between 30mpg and 33mpg. I am no mechanic but you seem to know a bit, but there is a thread ere about cleaning the cam sensor in the tech downloads. I did this and noticed a severe improvement in the way my car ran. The bloke who owned my vr before me didnt even replace the oil and he used it as a fast dog limmo but shes sorted now. These astras -

It has the fact that she is a highline going for her.. But if I was the buyer I would screw you to drop the price over MOT. 140000 aswell I know what its like to lose a motor you love over the cash your throwing at it. My 325i was the same. I hope you get what you want mate but seriously look at the price of breaking parts at the min I know its a shame but it may be the best way to get the price you want......

No its not worth it robbing B*st**d Russ tell him to shove it ........ Infact give me his number and I will call him and tell him for ya just jokin man the leather trim from the highline is going for £400 on E-bay and the engine would surely fetch £200 so your covered even if you run her till mot runs out.
