    cant beat a nice old mk2 with a vr up front.love the car mate looks very nice and original.

    ive seen alot of people use the corrado air box in the mk2 its fits really nice compared to the mk3 air box.

    i agree with nat the 2.8 is more than capable of producing 190bhp and tbh has as much tuning potential as the 2.9.the 2.9 may be torqey(on paper) but ive seena few rolling roaded and they never make anything special or any at all more bhp or torque than a healty 2.8..........charge it lol

    Coilovers???

    try getting some mk3 vr6 weitec coilovers mate a good coilover for a decent price and yes the extra weight does make a difference especially on standard stuff,i ran my cheap ebay coilovers from my 8v for 6 months and they held up but not the greatest ride make sure you uprate your top mounts for rado vr6 ones the will go first.

    i havent taken it out yet as its off the road for some work but i cant wait to take it out im sure il see if this was the problem if not il be pulling my hair out lol
