thanks for that pete when i do my head ill putt a thicker gasket on and hope fully have some new toys aswell so look in ur mirros for the cabrio it wont be to far behind lol
looks good mate. the engine ur puttin in is a low compression 2.9 aint it ???? is it worh puttin a thicker head gasket on when i change my head so i got low compression as i would liek to chager it some day ..... how does it run on low compression ?? run ok or lack of power or wot ??
nice kept droppin but thats cos i have a raceland main as well and the joint is rubbish had to put and extra bracket in to hold it level and stop it from droppin .... but im sure any exhaust place shoudl be able to sort it or take it back to where u had it fitted and get them to do it
prob the same fault i had didnt have the diag wires conected to the plug should be green and yellow from memory but mite not be ??? i put a 16 pin plug on mine instead of the two black and whites plugs
im in juat give me a time and place and ill be there .... it normal kicks off about 6 - 6.30 i think could all meet at the fuel station at the bottom of the a20 at gasoline alley ???
check the small hose goin to the expasion bottle when its runni if water is comin out of it the water pump should be ok if not ur pumps gone .... only way to test the stat is to remove it so if ur removin it u mite se well replace it mate hope this helps .... as the hoses are gettin very hard u mite hav a head gasket problem ... try and get a sniff test done
