    not to sure on a complete price but the engine rebore and pistons is £1500 plus VAT got a rough budget of about £3500 to do it all got a few things in the pipe line but keepin it close to my chest and i wont revel it till the show after it is all done ......

    i shall be doin all the above for all the club to see phat vr6, and u measure the bors but u need to know wot ur doin and lookin for i just wanna do it cos the rings have gone on mine and thought id treat my self to a bigger engine lol as for pistons ill be using wot eva vince at stelth recomends which if i remember was wossner i think ?? cos he said JE are good but a lot more work to ring them and fitt them ....

    well thanks for all the advise and tech stuff but im not goin R32 route im goin for 83mm pistions which will make it a 2931 cc for thoses who care :-p :-p so i shall keep u all up to date with a step by step guide .. and rough cost etc etc so watch this space

    i hear u boys but i need to get a loan and get the bottom rebuilt by stelth and i just dontt have the time do take it out stip it and rebuild it put it back in and plus dont fancy makin the ring trip my runnin in period and wanna do a bit more to it .... it really gutted ...... will be ready for the summer shows thou ....

    bit of bad news dudes and dudetts .... im not goin ... car is very ill and not to sure if it will make dover let alone a few trips round the ring .... think the rolloing road killed it lol havin trouble startin and miss firin and stuff like that soo need to do a major engine re- build .... but up side is i have a speed ferry ticket ... and i can transfer the Reg... so first come first served... i payed £85 and that all im askin is £85...... send me a pm if intrested will be there next yr with bells on and a new and imporved vr cab with a bit more poke ... tony
