long story short mate, if u got the receipt for the road tax that is ur road tax, it states on your tax renewal form that if u pay on-line ur vehical is taxed instantly. fight it all the way then try and find a trumped up nothing to charge them for. ie....travel expenses incured for mini-cabs to and from work whilst your car was off the road because u was told it was un-taxed. any cabbie will give u some receipts for a few beers mate..

how about break it up, save everything u get for the bits and buy another? if it does need all the welding ur saying it could be a couple of hundred quid

i always have a rummage in the clearence section, i managed to pick up 4 sets of mirrors, dtm's and slr's for 10-15 quid a set and ebayed em for 30 quid a set

got the airfilter and engine. but love the sound of an un-muffled vr engine thats all. not sure on the plastic kit and whaletail. i aint got a saxo lol. each to their own i suppose. will pick up the end of the convoy as you drive past my place lol. petersfeild is 10miles north just to turn round and drive back 2 streets past my start point lol.

still like the idea as fi is a little out my league. besides im sure i could build a kit for less than a couple of hundred quid if i just get a small bottle to start with

i know some of you guys dont like the idea but i found a guy on ebay who can get any design airbrushed onto ur bonnet. i asked him "how much for a mk3 golf bonnet with rips airbrushed in and the image of a vr6 engine behind the rips, like somethng has torn open the bonnet and the engine is visible" he replied Dear sir_gavin, Hi There, I want that idea on my vr6 now! lol. On a serious note though that would be a pleasure to do for you and I would happily supply the bonnet, Brush the work and deliver to portsmouth for £350...Hows that sound? i been thinking bout nos since its cheaper than fi. been looking at direct port wet kits. wanna poke 6x 25bhp and 6 x fuel nozzles into the lower manifold

ok well do 7 then lol. i dont mind either way.give the old sunday roast time to digest before tucking into one of them burgers im nearly done with the cleaning. gave it a quick wash again and a double meguirs gold class wax today. only washed and t-cut it thursday lol, gotta do black bits on the outside and some tyre slick then hoover and shine the interior , and it'll still look like a bag'o'shite lol. people say u can polish a turd, i say watch me bloody try hahaha

i've been looking at those lightened ones on ebay. they seem to be reasonably well priced and if its the same one im thinking of at 7lb thats pretty damn light. but does anyone know where i can get a standard one lightened and balanced on thesouth cost?

i'll confirm here fella. 5;30 is kool with me. just means i got 2 hours less to try and make the car look presentable lol. wanna give it another wash and wax coz the misses and her mate helped the other evening after work and spent more time throwing water at each other than washing the bloody car so ended up just rubbing dirt in. i managed to salvage some of it but never got round to finishing it, now i gotta start again lol. wheels peeling-----check boot still needs another coat of paint----check yet another exhaust hanger broken----check still bloody stalling----check hmmm i see trouble ahe

i got an fk grill last year and once i fited it i found it dont quite fit right under the passenger side headlight. but apart from that it looks pretty good. still need to be sprayed tho. been in black since middle of last year lol. lc5p- dusky mauve pearl is so hard to get right. -
here we go again, decisions decisions lol, e38 or vw action. i think i'll do this one this year, but will definatly miss not being able to go vw action
