Right guys as most of you know - i've only owned my Highline for nearly 2 months. But my mate has offered me his R32. R32 is Dark Grey, full black leather etc, miltech exhaust, 32k and near mint. Its up for sale for £15k but as i've done loads to him in the past he said i can have it for £12k. But after buying my car and spending everything on it to finally get it how i want it i have spent around £5500 lol My car is 100% mint at the moment and i know if i sell it i'll loss out as know one will appreciate how much cash has gone into it to make it A1. So the £12k doesnt look as good as it s

Need help with brake fitment!
Paul1982 replied to herisites's topic in Wheels, Brakes, Suspension and Steering
To be honest - If you are already using spacers then its likely the alloys will have to be the next change. But 8mm is hardly much different. Are you gettin the caliper touching the spokes or the rim?? I was in South West tyres a week back and they was measuring loads of things up so that they could get my 17's on my Highline (288mm standard) they did give me 18's but they didn't fit. Its all about the alloys - so best bet is to go to your local alloy centre and see what they can do. -
Charger!!! 100% - as most people on here will agree - there will always be a new scratch around the corner and you will be gutted you just spent hundreds on making it look perfect. I'm never going to do it again until i wanna sell her.

FFFOOOOOKERS!!!! Well my car had a great buff job the other week and was looking mint - Drove it into my mate Shop (Motorworld) back enterance and one of the lads working for him dropped one of the stand bikes and it fell again my car. 2 small dents with paint chips and one massive scratch. I was gutted lol :'(

I love them to but cant justify the price - i'd have a charger VR over 1 of them all day u c and it would be £2-3k cheaper

Well the cheapest 3.2 TT i can find is £14k. So if you have that sort of cash then its totally up to yourself. What do charged Rado's usually sell for??? As if £2500 will go on the top of your price of your car then its worth it. You could always buy a second hand one (£1500) and sell it when your done for (£1300) meaning you dont lose much while saving for the car you 100% want. I wouldnt get something if you was in to minds... you only regret it and lose alot of cash in the process. Good luck with whatever your choice is!!!

I think its something to do with compressing the springs. If you have coilovers you wouldnt need to use one.

Lol - Well some lovely cars there but also some expensive ones. Affordable to everyone (in my eyes) is upto a £10k car. Yes there are some awesome upgrades and specials but then your talking big bucks. I agree - the mk1 golf should be higher plus the Beetle should be in there pushing the amg off the bottom.
-
Think the G60 Rallye takes care of that chum
-
Lol true they r a great car BUT its not affordable to everyone. Just like the Porsche Carerra GT, RS6, M5 etc
-
Is it just me but is there to much movement with the engine when he is reving it, think the mounts must be poo - personally i f**king hate it lol
-
The inner lights if used, use the switches main beam lighting wires from the outers. So basically you rewire the outers so that they are just on and off and the inners the same. Hope you get me lol

Here are 10 classic German models that I tip my hat of to as to be the best heritage cars still to this day. All over 10 years old, all classics, Plus affordable to all. This is the order I think is the best: 1) BMW E30 M3 (Evo) 2) Mk1 Golf Gti 3) Porsche 911 4) Corrado VR6 5) Mk3 Golf VR6 6) Golf G60 Rallye 7) Escort Cosworth (Hand made in Germany) 8) Audi S2 9) Audi Quattro 10) Mercedes c36 AMG Hard choice – what do you guys think should be number 1?? Plus what others would you add??

I have lowering spring on my car and will be uprating the suspension to coilovers very soon. If ever near the Cardiff area your more than welcome to have them. They are spax ones i think and 40mm lowered.... have a look at my car in members rides and you will see the ride high they give you.

As Matth76 said - if you love your VR6 but you want something newer then the R32 would be the boy to go for. Very sexy mashine that have the looks, sound and class of the VR6. But faster and new lol... Plus the MK4 R32 is a nicer car in my eyes that the MK5. The mk5 doesnt look aggresive anymore.
