    Hi Pete, so what you looking at spending in total to recon the engine and what spec do you think it will be at. Been looking on Ebay and it looks like you can pick up a R32 engine and gearbox etc for just over £1k which is cheap as hell and you'll have a 240bhp standard engine. Supercharger that beast and you'll have her upto 495bhp for 5'ish grand. So £6-7k you'll have a monster lol

    Well i have been really thinking about this lads/ladies. My mk3 vr6 is awesome, sounds just amazing and i have it looking just how i've always wanted one to look. BUT!! I really wanna supercharge it in the next few months. But she is coming up to the 100k mark soon so the charger will take it out on her. So i'd have to recon the head - change the drive chain, upgrade the clutch and probably alot more. So was thinking about getting an R32 lump and dropping her in. You can pick one up with the gearbox etc for cheap enough then charging her. But just been reading up on the R36 3.6 282bhp standard

    Well i knew my car was a bit underpowered and i found out why. The Bl**dy CAT was in a terrible state and it must have been restricting her. but know the raceland manifold is on and a full stainless system (only one silencer) it sounds amazing. The car is in the body shop having a good going over at the mo but when i pick her up i'll take some photo's for you all and get you a few Sound clips as this is the main reason i got her :-)

    My mate has asked me to sell his beloved Corrado VR6: Due to him not being able to use a PC and losing his license i said i'd sell it for him. I dont have any pictures as of yet but will do very soon. It is a Red Corrado VR6 with 81,000 miles and FSH. It has the rare full cream leather interior with the Red piping, plus the seats are electric. It comes with 18" Leso Alloys (very rare ones) with lowered suspension and full Magnex exhaust system. It was a Auto but he had it converted to a Manual with a new clutch and a 50,000k box only a few months ago. It has upgrade lights and eyebrow spoilers

    Lol - I was told they would fit, been as they r doing it everyday i'm sure they no better. Plus i'd never play with what is the most important part of the car THE BRAKES as if it weakens the pad in anyway it couls cos some serious problems.

    Well there was a guy who had a TT 225 Sport and he had the AR1's put on his car. So yes if your wheels r on there now then the TT ones will be fine. SW Tyres asked me if it was ok for them to grind my pads down so that they fit. Lol what kind of dumass comment was that????

    Lol well i took them back and picked up a set of SSW Mesh 17's :-) - They look a bit like the BBS Split rim anniversary alloys on the VR6. And yes i am alot happier. The car is going into the exhaust centre monday and in the bodyshop wednesday. Will be tinting the windows and painting the calipers sometime on the weekend and putting the mk4 lights on aswel. Going to be cleaning up my Throttle body and putting a Green cone filter on. Give it a full service with K1 10mm leads and NGK Platnum plugs etc The car is a bit sluggish at the mo as i bet the oil is crappy and the injectors r grubby. HOPE

    Well lads - I took them back and stuck with a set of 17's in the end. They are SSW Mesh split rims - They have only been out a month and they look like the BBS Anniversary alloys. Well i am happy in the end anyway :-)

    But wouldnt the 5mm Spacer push the 18's out even more which will make them rub?? My Calipers are standard as far as i can see - this is why i am shocked :-(

    Just arrived home to find my alloys are waiting for me. Excited as i am i didnt care its raining i was out there trying to fit them. 18 ASA AR1's - they looked the part but guess what, the buggers didnt fit, the centre point was up tight to my brake pad :-( Dont really understand it as MOT's highline has the same ones but in 17's: http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?160032 So u would think 18's would be bigger over the caliper - oh well i'm always wrong lol Now have to get south west tyres to come pick them back up and i have to looks for another set.     Are you going to keep it FWD then? What sort of cost is the EIP turbo then?

    How can i tell the difference then Blinliner? Whats the difference in the BHP in them? I've heard of the Corrado TB is a good one to get - am i right lol??

    I have a 1995 Highline so i take it my car is a ODB2 Engine. I have been reading up on the throttle bodies and how hard it is to bore them out and port them properly. Hear some people doing it and the car doesnt even start and if it does it Idles really badly :-( Does anyone know if there is a company that supplies some topend TB's and what do they charge??

    Does the Rotrex charger have different stages like the vortec then?? I'm going to do a S/C upgrade very soon and if the Rotrex is better i'd love to know all about them

    Yeah that right on my old VR6 the front spoiler was the same depth all the way around - Yeah the hell did the highline change it as the new one looks poo lol ;-) Thanks lads i'll be getting one of them!!

    Well the deal i got with the 18's was better than any other 17" that i liked. My Coilovers and Arches roll will sort my ride height but Your right about the hardness bit i dont mind it if i get to look good lol.

    Shocking - Sorry mate but it looks like i've copied you :s I have a black highline and bought some 18" Asa AR1's for her and am waiting on delivery. Plus the mk4 style light, the grill lol Looks great mate, hope my car turns out the same!!
