    I no what you mean Nik but bugger using a cage just the get the strength of the chassis back to near original strength - the Rollcage was designed to give a car EXTRA strength, stopping the chassis flexing to improve handling etc etc So compromising the strength by having something faster does nothing for me - i may aswel have a Westfield.

    I personnally think this is the best shape golf ever made with the best engine - if its 4wd aswel then you have a dream of a motor there mate. Would love to see it charged and on a strip ;-)

    What about the strengh of the chassis as buy the sounds of it - stripping it the way they have would mean u bump it your struggling lol

    If thats the case then you might be getting a correct reading or the speedo is out lol but either way - way the hell are you driving like a girl for :-) give her some and listen to that VR singing!!

    Mine has 96k and chains not done - my mechanic has a 205k vr lol still going (chain r done twice lol) first VR i had had 155k :-D pulled really hard and i mean i was quick - never knew why as all the history said it was standed and no chains done but it pulled 186bhp on the rollers and i only had a cat back exhaust on her lol - I've heard that after 150k the car runs better. I think mine feels better every day lol

    If you paid via paypal you are covered up to £500 - my mum got £400 back after some tw*t didnt get back to her. By the way the guy's address might be bullsh*t :-( most cos ebay people dont use there own address. Fucking hate sh*t scum like them - if u do get hold off him give him a kick for me and the rest of the ebay world who get done over by fookers like him!!!!

    Its one of the ones i sent you on page 2 - It doesnt have Climatronic and there is no mileage shown so i bet its dont over 130k. Selling the engine alone out of the 75k miler will pay for any damage on the car and you'll have the RARE climatronic that way!!

    In my opinion there is no such thing as a cheap shell - you'll need to put some work into any 12 year old car. The good thing about this car is with the parts he will end up with it should pay for itself

    Its nearly a 12 year old car - My Highline is HPI clear but has had the rear bumper changed at one time. You wont find my cars that havent had something. Yeah i agree the pic isnt that good for you to see the damaged area. But isn't your rear wing still good? Offer him lower money and see what he says. If he had it in as a PartX then i bet he only give the guy £1k-£12 for it.

    Well offer him £1500 - then when you go down there have £1500 max and give him a hard time about anything else that you see and try knocking him down again. If you got down there then it'll look like your interested in the £1880 price so it'll be hard to knock him down. If you've made the effort then to travel that far then it shows you want it. Don't let the dealer beat you!! ;-)

    The sills do look nasty but it looks like an unabused example. The VR6 engine really is to heavy for the mk3 shell - this is why if you can help it you done jake her up on the sills as they bend in time. This is what has happened to the green one now and rust has set in, But its not a major job to get it sorted. By the way its not a Auto Lol!!

    Good good mate - i'm sure there is no difference in electrics mate. The Auto Box's are worth good cash aswel and the interior. You have the manual box and linkages in your other car so will the engine is out on both it should only take 2 hours to have it sorted. My mate did it to his Rado VR6 as the auto box was buggered - so he put a manual one in. 75k OBD2 engine will be worth £400 Autobox with incar box etc will be worth £200 min Black heated leather interior would be worth £300-£400. All in your looking at over £1k you'll get back. But personally i'd sell your interior as the leather

    Sorrry but those of you who think they have had more than 40mpg are mistaken - the mpg trip on the car has to settings. If you trip one while you are doing 57mph in 5th it will act like thats you 0 miles per hour mpg reading and it will go from there. Basically its a false reading. I had 54mpg when i was pissing about restesting while driving. Try and you'll see what i'm on about. The computer is correct but when you do it while you are driving it takes a long while to figure this out and reset itself.
