  1. Loving the new car craig, as said can't wait to see her up the strip!
  2. I cant afford to pre book my tickets as i now seem to have broken my brake pads and Porsche ones aint cheap lol! BUT i will defo be there, if you are emailing them it might be worth letting them know?
  3. As Pete has said i've never heard of this either :S think someone has been telling u porkies fella!
  4. Nice little motor but rather worryingly this has been for sale for awhile now and by the looks for things the seller has whacked on another 3k!!
  5. Well done Sal and Martin - as said, well deserved Well done Ben for yet another top notch write up!
  6. I got my renewal through from A F and it is approx £300 cheaper than last year! This year i am paying £657 - with free legal cover, unlimited mileage and £200 excess. All mods on a like for like bases. I have turned 25 this year and got another NCB under my belt so i guess that helps. But they are the cheapest of the lot. Rang Chris Knott and they could get slightly cheaper but the excess was £50 more. Also they wouldnt insure me full stop if i had the rear seats removed! Random coz its not something i thought you'd need to mention on your insurance, glad i did though
  7. http://www.bremboshop.co.uk/brembo-original-volkswagen-golf-iii-28i-vr6--19951997-front--discs-09674710_p4140928.htm These are the right size but not the "MAX" ones
  8. Chucked it mate. If you use the search function on here you'll find a thread created sometime last year in regards to how to remove it and which pipe to block and which to leave open
  9. I know how meticulous you are with your cleaning and also how honest you are (if, for some sheer random reason you did get the tiniest scratch) that you would own up and try and get it sorted for the customer. I would say around £40 for option 1 and around £100 or so for option 2. I'm basing that option 2 price on a guy up here who trained with Auto Glym and really knows his sh*t and quoted me £230 for a full detail of my car (wheels off - the lot!) Obviously things are a little more expensive down your way so perhaps £100 is a little low but i'd be happy to pay round that mark to have you
  10. I want an RS4 bumper ! Nice motors there chaps
  11. TomTom FTW I've had mine for over 3 and a half years and like craggsys its been faultless. In fact they have been that good that my work bought a load in for the drivers. We used to use Garmin but they were utterly g&sh!
  12. And my front end (which i currently have for sale! lol) Standard: Projector lights:
  13. Never had a "VRG" comment but i also once got asked if it was a real VR6. I said yes. He asked if i was sure?! I replied yes again! Then he asked AGAIN if i was really sure!!! When i replied flipping yes for the third time he told me it wasn't a VR6 coz it didn't sound like one?!! Then when i opened the bonnet and showed them the engine i got told that it wasn't a real VR6 engine.... At this point i asked if he had any experience whatsoever with a "real" VR6?! When he replied "no but i know about cars, i can name every single car on all the Fast & Furious'" I knew i was dealing with a re
  14. Wicked cheers for the Ben and cheers chaps for all your advice. So essentially i need something with a lower ET as that would mean the hub face is FURTHER away from the spokes BUT just make sure the wheels don't sit too far from the arches....Anyone know of any decent arch rolling spots oooop north?!
  15. Ah sorry, width is 7.5 Ok...think i get ya. Maybe just have to be trail and error then
  16. Basically I'm getting a little bit bored with my ABT's and thinking of getting some new wheels. The thing that makes this difficult is the Porsche brakes on the front. I have currently got 10mm spacers on the front so my wheels clear the callipers but they ONLY just clear and i dont want to put bigger spacers on as the tyres are literally in line with the arches - any more and they will be an MOT fail! I dont want to end up faffing on buying wheels then finding out they don't fit over the calipers etc! I think (one for the wheel whores out there - BEN!) that its the ET of the wheel that will
  17. Still cant believe you're not going to be at this one Craig. You attending any other shows this year?
  18. I also use Adrian Flux and i had the same Dan. It was actually cheaper if the car was modified with like for like replacement on each part. All mods declared is £900 for me and that's with 2yrs NCB and 3 points parked in a car park. Oh and i was 24 when i took it out.
  19. Guess once the movie's dried up Terminator had to specialise in something else :-* In all seriousness though nice little video
