    Definately lucky. Strange to how the front bumper seems to have popped itself out too! Maybe repairable! Just see what the week has in store i suppose.

    Basically the car is going into the bodyshop tomorrow to get the initial damage fixed. Then i shall go from there. Got my TAX and MOT @ the end of March, so the future is looking bleak @ the moment. Just taking each day as it comes now.

    Parts ive had to replace so far through general wear and tear: - New breather pipes - Starter Motor - One injector and seal - Glove box handle - Two front tyres (Two blow outs one @ 35mph another @ 70mph) - MAF

    Just thought id start more of a journal of whats happened to the VR since ownership. So here goes. Travelled for 17 hours to pick it up from Skegness on 17/10/06 and looked like this: Got it back and the first thing to fit was some new rear lights and side repeaters 25/10/06 November saw the addition of a RAM AIR induction kit courtesy of VDUBGIRL End November/December time saw the inclusion of some crystal front indicators and fogs, new german plates, badgeless grill and some new headlight bulbs.     I have the VR6 2.8 on mine, how would this have come to be? Also, it looks like that one is polished which is strange as they are plastic :S

    I had a feeling, does all vr's have twin fans as there is one in the breakers but it doesnt have a/c.

    Yeah, the engine is fine, and it drives ok. Only thing is that i have a slight grinding noise on the odd occassion. The inner wing doesnt seem to bent, nothing a bit of jiggin wont fix anyhow.

    Nope, the insurance will not be informed of this mishap. Just going to get it repaired, just finding it difficult to get hold of all the parts.

    On my way home last night from Torquay on the old Plymouth road between Avonwick and Totnes i found myself in a bit of bother. Doing about 50mph i came across a dear running in front of me, my first reaction was to avoid it, job done! Unfortunately i then found myself on a grass patch skidding towards the depths of nowhere...stuck the brakes and handbrake on but it did nothing. Next thing i know im in 20 degree ditch front end first in a tree and fence! :cry: To say im gutted is an understatement, just before the respray was due too! :cry: Anyway, onwards and upwards, and least im ok!
