  1. Motorsport Rocks.. (li) Will be a lot of lurking on this day> I havent looked but the support races and other stuff can bge just as much fun.. Check the programme... Also if you go Be very very very early. Take a pack of bacon/bread/sauce and a disposable BBQ Best way to start the day off before you get charged £1million for a wet burger later on...
  2. Deffo worth replacing the bolts and the gasket whilst you're there...I cant help you on the 3 bolt thing as I got all my Zorst done at the same time. It is fidly so anything you can strip will help the access process. Also the Stainless has no flex section so are your engine mounts standard? I ask as some people have had their mani crack with standard mounts. So may be worth looking on here for the partnumbers if you want to upgrade.. In members section if I recall in the modification section...

I'm FI and yes it did. I got mine made to order from Longlife as a C200 (Rouse filament I think????) rated... Couldnt be fagged climbing under once a year and didn't want to spend a fortune on a mechanical switch and pipe... So got it fitted.. Still working a treat to the point of my MOT chap can never believe that my car has the mods and is about the lowest he has seen for a car with that size engine...

  6. Sorry a little confused there.. did you swap the plug connectors over and both fans worked on the yellow connector?? Also worth checking the thermostat is okay...
  7. take the boot carpets out and keep in the house for a couple of days. that way you know they are dry and you can see the ice in the boot in the morning and follow the trail..

  9. Funniest thing happened in my garden.. The cat reminded me.... Tiddles form next door (who usually leaves us his gifts...) finally came out and was on the fence. Took some time thinking about dropping down in to the snow from the fence... you can imagine... perched on back legs leant down the fence then back up swaying around etc... Anyway the time seemed to have come.. Little darling looked at me the with one of those looks a cat gives you when he is telling what he thinks of you.. Plop off he goes... Much to my amusement the snow was deeper than tiddles thought and he disapears head first

  11. no but c2 are members on here... so ask away...
  12. As said it should be strong enough to take the hit remember its a VW not a French car... check your rim and tyre for a leak/damage. Usually you can see an impact line accross the tyre if it was that good a hit. (Like a darker line across the tyre)... Your eyes are a great tool here... So check the suspension mount points/joints etc etc..(give 'em a wiggle) if it was all dirty underneath you will see a clean spot as it will have flexed the crud off. so wipe it over with your wolly mits (lightly - don't want to scare your self when you wipe it all off if you see what i mean.. ) to see what

    SNOW

if you wait until the kids come out the car gets cleared for you.. yes you may have to avoid the odd snowbal. but you are warm and they are cold and wet then...
  15. I mean the same as yours and both with and without WI... I did ot go for out and out power I went for more drivability and longevity..
  16. around the same figures. I tend only to use it in very hot summer months as a method of managing my temperatures in the piston rather than a power set up. Your map is important. so always worth redoing correctly for your individual set up... Rolling road The main draw draw back is ensuring you have enough on you for that long weekend away. Carrying Methanol and distilled water everywhere is a pain... Hence my final option.. Also with aquamist you need to disable if no water otherwise it burns out. So you need to add a little micro switch in your water container.. The system works and is
  17. when it kicks in like that you keep the pressure on the peddle and let the technology stop you...
  18. i know this sounds daft and no egg sucking meant..but your lights are off and the door is shut??? After that with the lights on do the lights remain strong on turn over or dim/go off? Looking for a battery issue first folled by others.. Let us know
  19. yup Sparkz can rebuild via NS racing and if you look on the pulley there are some numbers like 2.75 etc this is the diameter of the pulley. Write it down and pop on to the Supercharging FAQ section... may be a premium benefit and it'll tell you what stage and what psi you should expect.. As said check the oil feed lines first before you panic and yes tension is important but as said usually the alternator goes first..
  20. from memory it can vary depending on when you want it to really.. You need a guage/tool/footpump to fit to see when it operates (at least during installation) vs your engine revs and at what psi/bar level you have of charge. I have mine set to come on at around 0.3bar/4psi. (running stage2 8-9psi/0.6bar) However it is one of those things that is worth talking to your preferred local tuning specialist about in detail. I notice you are from Denmark.... normally we would suggest you talk to Vince at Stealth in the UK. So maybe worth trying him for a call at least, if your happy to If you a
