  1. So in summary the gti (some times GLX) is available with the VR6 engines from the mk3 onwards Standard was/is FWD. In the US. My understanding is the car was available but super rare with the 4WD systems in from mk4 onwards. Yes the R32 was available and yes it has 4WD or 4motion fitted. I have seen US cars with Syncro on them. So maybe this is still used....I don't know...??? In Europe there were cars available mk3 known as syncro which have 4WD. From Mk4 onwards the VW 4WD system was known as the 4Motion system and of course used on the VAG group cars Skoda etc.. In the UK we got a m

  12. that is a good point.. You are looking for nice dry air inside as that is what causes the condensation in conjunction with the inside vs outside temperature differential. I do find if I crack the roof or the likes it helps draw the air around the car. Also do you have a boot/car full of stuff??? I ask as if you have cloths/rags bottles of fluids etc etc then they get moist overnite and will be a source of moisture aswell... Finally you do need to let your car come up to temperature. I dont just mean the engine. Once everything is warm etc that helps a great deal. May be worth investing in
  13. are there any damp patches in the car.. check the usual suspects... the rear first hints at the lights seal.. The other thing is are you wet in any way?
  14. yes only 2 tips... Try not to finger them to much... and put them back in the box like they were packaged. Finally try them before you take them out of the box next year. Oh and if you can find 'em or float the budget. Go fible optic.. only one light source...
  15. Sir, you are not to far off the mark..the more important factor being an electrical engineer is that the pac isnt rated for the extra heat. So it will catch fire... Or more acurately the componates are not able to handle the levels involved and thus will heat and if they dont fail due to heat then you will have a fire... If you want to upgrade do it properly and get the correct internal parts (or product) capable of dealing with such ignition requirements. The impeadance of the cable & Pac is more important than the resisitance and in line with the increased voltage and thus lower curr
