    somewhere being awsome!
  1. thanks guys, ye im really pleased with it!
  2. Hello again... been a while since i updated this so here's what iv been doing over winter.. the engine used to like this.. Now look like this after fitting a mirror polished inlet manifold, dip stick, carbon fibre oil cap, carbon fibre battery cover, front upper strut bar, bmc cda filter, and a good tidy up.
  3. Ye i know exactly what u mean, so i could just use the bolt holes that were used as the rear seat belt mounts? also im going to use 4 point harnesses so can the two shoulder straps be fixed together on one mounting point? because there isn't enough fixing holes is there? :S Sorry for all the questions. I appretiate the help.
  4. as iv seen in other cars the bar is bolted to the turrets. so it should be quite strong. but i can see why the fixing points could be safer. thanks for the link ill check it out.
  5. most of the time its down to the make of the tyre and the tread pattern. i had some expensive avon's on and never aqua plained but then when i changed wheels it was duran budget tyres and was terrible in the water.
  6. hey, im wanting to get some harness seat belts for my car, i want to loop them round my rear stress bar but all harnesses iv looked at have fixing brackets on the end for bolting down. Does anyone know what type of harnesses i need? Or is there a way of taking the fixing bracket of the end so i can loop it round? HELP!! Thanks.
  7. its the complete frame with slider built onto it, i got subframes from this company... http://www.rsmmotorsport.co.uk/products/productdetail.aspx?pid=383 they are quite expensive but they are very strong, they use the same front centre fixing on the floor and you slide the sides into frames built into the car at the sides and put bolts through. you can either choose a subframe with a slider on it for adjusting the seat forwards and backwards or just get a solid one.
  8. ah ye its bazs old car, wasn't sure if he had been on this forum or not, not seen him recently think he moved to austrailia for a while.
  9. thanks pal, i think these are 4" pipes, some people arn't to keen on them because they are quite big, but i think they suit it.
  10. thanks guys! the rear square plate is US to go with the Us tailgate but i have been thinking of getting a standard uk size for the front but not sure, the seats are on cobra mk3 sliding subframes nice n comfy!
