    nah fast in , faster out, the corners that is... i did 11 laps, and am planning on doing at least another 10 this coming easter. reckon ill be camping again looking at the price, but this time ill bring some decent sleeping bags, and a bottle of VODKA.

    yeah ditto with above, go for the experience and the new freinds that you will make, go as quick as you like, but DO NOT FEEL PRESSURED into going any quicker than you are capable of, big balls manouver's will only land you in trouble.

    as long as it has history with recipets it never bothers me, the days of engines going pop sub 100000 should be gone now. its only abuse and neglect which will do that.

    no im on 164, still on orig engine, and only just had a clutch, also goes like stink. vw's in general get better with age..i had alot them now and many of them have had high miles.

    i had similar problems with my linksys router, try altering the channel and then i had to dick around with the connection settings, took my around 3 hours of playing.. will it connect with the ethernet cable pluged into tthe router??? if it does its almost deffo gonna be the same prob i had. ill did out some settings for you to try. what isp are you with?

    ah, my bad then...was that with the cams or b4??? if it was before , did you notice any difference or was it purely a placebo affect.

    seconded je or wossner, i remember mahle pistons having mixed reviews a few years ago, although that was in non vw applications, and was more than likely down to other aspects of the engine.

    yeah i no the fuel pressure has been bumped up. but on my car their was a noticable dip at the top end, fuelling wise it is perhaps overkill, but it does seem to be working well, and it will have a another rr sesssion to see how rich its running if at all. i prefer my cars to run a tad rich, its a rule of thumb ive followed with all my turbo and n/a cars. and one to which i stick. yes a remap would be better, more refined , but with the vr6 ecu a remap with exhaust and filter mods is not worth it i.m.h.o. on my last 200sx, i did all the mapping with a friend of mine in live conditions, but tha

    aswad, you also have a superCHARGER.......... mark i'll take some pics at the weekend. jester, tbh it's better on a car with mods, but it depends on the car/engine. mine needed the extra fuel high up (as per my rr session) , i was gonna go for the 4bar unit but , didnt want to spend the extra 20 quid. and 3.8 to 4 bar on a n/a car isn't gonna notice. my mods are as per my sig .

    ok, vauxhall part no, 9198822 its normally something they would have to order in and i got mine at trade. so it cost me 18.19p but think it would have only been 20.80p inc vat

    havent heat wrapped ine, and its still fine, even after a 1000 mile round trip to the ring and back. but i did replace all engine and gearbox mounts with new vw ones.

    wow, it has made a big difference to my throttle response, and i can honestly say that i havent noticed any overfuelling, but have noticed that its doesnt tail off at around 6k, it pulls cleany to the limiter, and very hard from 3800-4000 . ive got the part number if anyone wants it, and it was only 20 quid inc vat from vauxhall. rolling road to follow with before and after.. jim

    car wont be back on the road till ed38, so i cant make it im afraid... still will have the windy screen sorted and a few other bits. and im keeping it afaik. which is a bonus if you can send my trophy for gti festival to me it would be great
